One of the few times you'd have to agree with Pat.

Vacancies in Derry, Tyrone,  Monaghan, Meath, Westmeath and Longford.
Are there any others?
Will Dublin and Galway be joining them?
Our man seems to be staying as spotted at matches taking notes.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

For what it's worth here's how I see it panning out.

Malachy O Rourke to Tyrone, with either Ryan Porter or Paddy Tally.

Banty to Monaghan with Rory Gallagher his well paid sidekick.

Of Derry were remotely on the ball they should be breaking Conleith Gilligans door down.

Offaly not in the kick in arse off Louth when Harte took over there. Why do you think it'll end in tears?

Also I would think Declan Kelly is just happy he's kept on in some capacity after the Tailteann cup campaign Offaly had under him this Summer.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

I think Harte will get Offaly motoring alright. I'm thinking more so for Declan Kelly - just not sure the pair of them working together will work. It's just a hunch though 3 years from now we could be saying they are a match made in heaven.

Hear Robbie Brennan (crokes) is a cert for Meath job. How accurate that is I don't know. But that's what I was told today.

Boyle Sports odds to be the next Meath manager.

Robbie Brennan 4/5
Lar Wall 7/4
Cathal O'Bric 4/1
Andy Moran 9/2
Bernard Flynn 7/1

Next Tyrone manager

Malachy O'Rourke 2/9
Paul Devlin 3/1
Paddy Tally 12/1
Ciaran Meenagh 20/1
Enda McGinley 20/1

Derry have made some mess of their recruitment. Two weeks ago they had options - hard to know where they are now

I'd would have been be surprised if they appointed Gallagher, but now they might have no choice. If they had the option of O'Rourke a few weeks back (who would have been an all round better appointment) it's unlikely that he is still an option.

Hopefully it's Bernard Flynn. He'll lay down the law on signing autographs.

Seems to back up what I was told. Also Cathal has just been announced as the u20 manager for next year. So he's out of the running.

Lol. What options exactly would they have been?
