Around the glens

Surely won't be too many pitches able to take 2 games this weekend. Ballymena was down for a triple header, shouldn't even of had the 1 hurling game on Sunday, pg1 since moved to ahoghill.

The weather is to improve. I dont get these "double headers". One game at 1 the other at 4!

thats simple, its so you buy 2 tickets. Get the ground cleared out and back in again.

It is odd to play them so far apart. At Dunsilly I always assumed (despite those who focussed on the ££ aspect) it was because the dressing rooms there could not suitably hold 4 senior teams back to back.
But Corrigans should have that ability so to split the games seems very odd, and will no doubt only increase pressure on St John's to run the venue from about 11am through to 6 or after.

So it's TNN,Glenravel,St Galls if Creggan beat them and a shoot out between ourselves and aldergrove for relegation?

Square Ball

St Mals and Eire Og finish level on points, head to head a draw, both have - 2 score difference, looks as if Mals go though, was it points scored next?

But I thought Glenravel were already safe in Div1 after beating Moneyglass? Or is it just relegation from the SFC?

imtommygunn

They're separate. So moneyglass will play in division 2 and senior championship next year. (They will maybe have the option to drop down but qualify to play sfc).

Feasibly glenravel could be division 1 and intermediate championship.

Second and third in each group move into QF, so they both progress.
