I heard a similar albeit that 5 were comfortable and the rest struggled badly even one of our inter county hurling refs

I'm not the rumour maker, just saying what I heard from a Tir Na og man. He was shocked about the lack of fitness and more so the attitude.

To be fair, we hear a lot of complaints about our referees on here but they are rarely about fitness or ability to keep up with play. Almost always their interpretation of the rules.

As for the boy having a smoke, let me clutch my pearls a little tighter. Christ the night....

Modern day interpretation of how they conduct themselves. Smoking is a no no in front of an underage team.

Haven't been here in quite a while but can't sleep and was thinking back of dooms day at dunsilly and thought I'd come and see what nonsense is being talked 😂 think championship will back up the talking! A few teams to be caught on the hop early on and new champions crowned!!

On the refs, I heard there was a decent turn out and a few more than 5 got to the standard and the usual suspects didn't do great as would be suspected, but wouldn't let it get in the way of a good pre championship mix 😂
