Quote from: Ghost on January 14, 2024, 09:58:32 AMAntony should always be a massive stick to beat ETH with. How he pushed and pushed for a one footed winger he had worked with previously at ridiculous money thinking it would work in the Premier league is beyond me. Antony had a decent start to his Utd career scoring a few goals but once defenders caught on to him he's been stone useless. I honestly don't know how he's got as far as he has being so completely inept on his right foot.

Sancho is a p***k but hopefully he goes and has a decent season at Dortmund now so they can at least get a decent sell on price for him.

Rashford commenting under Sancho's instagram post in support of Sancho sums him up this season. Probably an explanation for why he's been walking round games like he's on his period all season.
Would it not have been better for Rashford to give Sancho a call to wish him the best?Suppose it's the world we live in but not a great look him doing that as looks as though siding with Sancho, especially given what he's offered up this season.

My thoughts exactly. It's very much turned into a Sancho vs ETH situation and however minor Rashfords comments it's a bad look.

Rashford should get the same treatment.

As much as Ten Hag looks a dead man walking. Changing manager again will just give these guys another chance and another 2 years doing nothing. Sancho cannot be allowed to come back even though its hard to see anyone buying him. Rashfords number is up. He is not consistent.  Pogba and lingard are gone. Ronaldo  had to go after his petulance. Utd will get rid as many of the current squad as possible thus summer. And it will take a fe transfer windows. But Ten Hag can't be allowed the choice of who he wants to bring in.

I'd sell Rashford in a heartbeat too.

This is what Fergie was good at. He wasn't afraid of letting talented/legendary players go when their attitude started to stink. Look at Becks, keane and then letting top future prospects go like Pogba. Talent will only get you so far. If you don't have the attitude to match it. I'd love to have Prime Fergie having a go over these players and ridding the deadwood and the bad attitude players. No doubt he'd have a field day

He'd be left with about 5 players lol.

If you look at the age profile and quality of players had to win the league in his final season, that tells you enough about how to get the best out of an ordinary enough squad of players

How is Onana still in Manchester. Cameroon's first game is tomorrow. Ten Hag must have no faith in the backup keeper he bought

He's heading after this game, as a result will obviously miss Cameroons 1st game. Looks like he made some deal to arrive late

Great goal but about 94 minutes too early

Average result when playing at home and leading twice in the match. Both goals conceded as has been with this group of players all season came from switching off. First on a set piece and 2nd right at the start of 2nd half.

Better more focused teams don't concede goals like that nor do they sit off a Spurs team missing a lot of their front line players admiring their possession game like they were prime Barcelona.

2nd half was a half of few clear cut chances and of those that came for McTominay he should be scoring at least one of his two good chances so could have grabbed a win although wouldn't have deserved it.

The positives was Hojlund with a goal and assist. Rashford for a half at least looked in the mood and Martínez returned from injury.

Is he superglued to the goaline? No authority whatsoever, reminds me a bit of Claudio Bravo signing for city because he was good with his feet, but absolutely useless at the fundamentals of goalkeeping such as keeping the ball out of the net.

Bruno goes missing in action too often for Utd, surely he will not last under this new direction Utd are trying to head.
