A very controlling and composed first half performance, full value for the 2-0 lead. The opposite in the 2nd half and could well have lost however had Bruno hit the net instead of the crossbar it would likely be game over.

Little or no quality on the bench but they had to be brought on with a lot of the starters having played 120 minutes on Sunday. Fred must have thought he was playing for Tottenham, very good at finding the white jerseys.

At least a point picked up tonight yet still work to be done to secure a top 4 finish and plenty of tough fixtures to play in the remaining 7 games.
Just caught the 3 mins highlights of the 2-2 on the Sky app. Was there much of a VAR check for Spurs first goal? Looked to me like Richarlison was offside and probably stopped DeGea being able to dive to where the ball went, so he was interfering. Or did other angles show something different?
I think it was one of those that's similar to rashford interference against city. If de gea committed to diving towards it it'd be offside but he just stood still

Was only checked briefly,  Richarlison appeared to be interfering. Everton had simliar goal chalked off against United a few seasons ago.

Hard earned and deserved win against a Villa side unbeaten in 10 games (8 wins 2 draws) they had kept 7 clean sheets in that run and today was the first time Villa haven't scored under Emery

A patched up Defence was good today. Shaw, Lindelof filling in well for Varane, Martinez. Malacia best game in a United shirt?  Casemiro was more like himself in this game also.

Another tough game next away to Brighton.

Ghost

F**k that.

Top 4 still in the balance now.

Substandard

Sh*te, b*gger, b*llocks, b*stard!!

Brighton can win all their games and finish top four

Should have been a hard earned draw. Real give away defeat and just typical that Brighton would win with a penalty in the 99th minute when beaten on penalties in Wembley. Not sure what Shaw was at but he was arguably man of the match before giving away that penalty.

Fair play to Brighton better side in the 2nd half and kept plugging away, a good and well managed outfit who's season deserves European football next season and I'd hope they get it.

Odd comment.

What's odd about it? Lost on penalties in last meeting and today won with a penalty deep into injury time with basically the last kick of the game. Would have been even more fitting for Brighton had Solly March scored the penalty.

Brutal record

The only reason united  are  in the top 4 is because  the other  big teams ( Liverpool  Chelsea and Tottenham  ) are having brutal  seasons, particularly the last 2 teams . Had those three  been at the level of previous seasons , United would be  about 7th.

So , I'm really not  convinced United are  that much  further on  now than they were  last year

Ghost

Don't see any benefit to bringing on Weghorst at this stage. He must be up there as one of the worst players to play for Utd.

Saffrongael

Not enough goals in that United team, when you look at the money spent. Only scored 6 more PL goals than Leeds
