United are very much a work in progress and scoring is a major issue. Casemiro will hopefully be starting over mctominay. Anthony on the right sancho left and Ronaldo in the middle.  Arsenal are greatly improved but its hard to know how good they are so early in season. I suspect there is a weakness there like united.

Cunny Funt

Enjoyable contest. Highest quality Man United v Arsenal game in a number of years

United just 3 points off the top now, unthinkable after losing to Brighton, Brentford and conceding 6 goals in the opening 2 games.

Early days yet but good signings all showing well and the players showing the required intensity, work rate can produce results against the best in the league as seen today and against Liverpool.

If we apply some of Captain Obvious logic to this I think it's fair to say it's Man United's title to lose right now.

Don't think anybody is getting carried away. It's nice to have won four games in a row however.

Dropping Maguire and Shaw and AWB and Fred has been the change. Whatever about attitude and heart etc we've stopped making stupid mistakes and can actually defend for a change. Even when Arsenal had the ball they created very little. Their goal was a fluke, interception fell right to Saka. A good win but bigger challenges await.

ONeill

It's fairly impressive how he has transformed that Utd defence since the Brentford first half. Utd look sound back there. Antony and a confident Rashford will make Utd a dangerous team to play against. You could see early on that they knew Arsenal posed no real threat. Bringing Maguire on was a kick in the nuts for Arsenal.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Square Ball

Thank god a manager that seems to have a pair and willing to make big calls. Not getting carried away but happy to see where this goes .

He didn't have much choice after the Brentford game!
That's just, like your opinion man.

True but the English media are very "supportive" of their England internationals so good performances were a must from the "foreign" back 4 and they have been.

In saying that the Man U goals were well taken on the counterattack but overall Arsenal played the better football but played a disastrously high line. Man U will still need to work out how to break down teams that are going to defend like hell with utd having the lions share of possession.

Everyone scores against Leicester though.

Disgusted and saddened that Utd are going ahead with this game.

Looks busy too
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Ghost

Well that was awful. Don't know why VAR didn't overturn the penalty but in reality Utd were fairly toothless and didn't deserve anything from the game.

Casemiro looks fairly rusty still. You would like to think he can get up to speed soon.
