Captain Obvious

Waiting now for Captain Obvious to come in saying it's Liverpool's to lose now....
Even the most pessimistic Liverpool supporter should know its Liverpool's title to lose now.

Armamike

Sweet.  Makes things a bit more interesting.  That's the first time in a while Liverpool kicked off before Man city. Perhaps put a little bit more pressure on them.   Critical now that Liverpool turn the screw and win the next one.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Jesus I hope we don't malfunction v Leeds but regardless it's game on.

In the space of a few weeks, Liverpools odds for the title have went from 22/1... to 8/1.... to 10/3.
What a month.

Capt Pat

Liverpool still on course for the quadruple.

Not a hope, be happy with top 4.

Still City's to lose  ;) (but that table looking healthier)

Phil foden having a great night out tonight I see... :P ;D

That was a pretty awful first hour for Liverpool, and lucky enough their keeper was poor. Diaz goal the highlight, beautiful finish, and I had thought he had no left foot after his first couple of appearances!
Fair fooks to Harry Kane!

I don't think it's going to be like previous seasons were one or both title challengers win pretty much every game, I think there'll be a fair few more dropped points by both teams (well I'm certain Liverpool will drop points here and there, and just hope City drop more!)

Nice that's it's back in Liverpool's hands now. Hopefully they keep it there until they go to the Etihad.

The way Kane was holding up the ball on the break and finding those runners up the wing through City's high line suggests they could do damage against Liverpool too. His finishes too... Kane was outstanding.

Shame for Spurs he's been awol for much of the season.

He hasn't been AWOL. He's mostly just been missing one-on-ones this season that he usually puts away with no fuss (he did so again yesterday), possibly 15-16 of them at this stage. Hence the lack of braces and lack of hat tricks that everyone notices.  If he'd have converted half of those, he'd have been chasing the golden boot again.

He did look hungrier again yesterday, truth is it's much easier for Kane to dictate terms against a team who back themselves, push forward everywhere, and interchange positions so often. When he's playing against e.g Man Utd where the two centre halves mark him in front and behind, and a DM is positioned constantly in the no.10 hole, it's a thankless task.

Perfect start. Hopefully score a few more now.
