f**king hell, even the PCR test is a conspiracy. ;D

Funny how everything you don't believe in happens to be a conspiracy theory. Small wonder you did not loosely add in the "paranoid" word.  The resort of indoctrinated zombies.

From WHO themselves:

"The results of the PCR Test applied to SARS-2 are blatantly flawed. Drosten et al recommended the use of a 45 amplification threshold cycle (Ct), which was endorsed by the WHO in January 2020.

According to Pieter Borger, et al

The number of amplification cycles [should be] less than 35; preferably 25-30 cycles. In case of virus detection, >35 cycles only detects signals which do not correlate with infectious virus as determined by isolation in cell culture...(Critique of Drosten Study)

The WHO's RT-PCR "Retraction" (January 20, 2021)

The RT-PCR test was adopted by the WHO on January 23, 2020, following the recommendations of  the Drosten study quoted above.

One year later on January 20th, 2021, the WHO came out with the admission that the PCR test will yield biased results if they are conducted above a certain cycle threshold used for amplification. Below is the text of the WHO's "retraction":

WHO guidance Diagnostic testing for SARS-CoV-2 states that careful interpretation of weak positive results is needed (1). The cycle threshold (Ct) needed to detect virus is inversely proportional to the patient's viral load. Where test results do not correspond with the clinical presentation, a new specimen should be taken and retested using the same or different NAT technology.

What this admission of the WHO confirms is that most of the estimates of covid positive under the so-called "Second Wave" (with amplification cycles in excess of 35) are invalid, which means that the lockdown / economic measures which have resulted in social panic, mass poverty and unemployment (allegedly to curtail the spread of the virus) have no justification whatsoever.

Moreover, the WHO is calling for retesting: "a new specimen should be taken and retested...". That recommendation is pro-forma. I won't happen. (It is there to sustain the legitimacy of the WHO). Millions of people Worldwide have already been tested:

"if someone is tested by PCR as positive when a threshold of 35 cycles or higher is used (as is the case in most laboratories in Europe & the US), the probability that said person is actually infected is less than 3%, the probability that said result is a false positive is 97%  (Pieter Borger, Bobby Rajesh Malhotra, Michael Yeadon, Clare Craig, Kevin McKernan, et al, Critique of Drosten Study)

At the time of writing (Second Wave) the test is being used extensively to hike up the numbers with a view to justifying a partial lockdown with devastating social and economic impacts including the engineered bankruptcy of tourism, air travel and the urban services economy.

Both the WHO and the scientific assessments (quoted above) confirm unequivocally that the tests adopted by governments to justify the destabilization of their national economy are TOTALLY INVALID. Moreover, those PCR tests are not routinely accompanied by a medical diagnosis of the patients who are being tested".

Is that Pieter Borger, the creationist guy who thinks evolution is a myth?

Many people would look at the CT issue as possibly over-sensitive, in that once you get to 37 cycles, or more in some versions of the test, you may be calling people positive based on very low viral loads.

However, they would also understand that given the fact that you can't be testing people every couple of days, what's the alternative? By definition, you're going to have a low viral load early in your infection, before you develop a high viral load and become increasingly infectious and, in some, symptomatic. I guess we could just ignore asymptotic transmission and restrict testing to symptomatic individuals, but I'm guessing most would prefer to err on the side of caution in a novel global pandemic (and yeah, I see from your references, including creationists and astrology enthusiasts, that you see this all as a pile of bullshit concocted to allow the establishment of a new world order or whatever. Knock yourself out).

As an aside, on the other extreme, I've gotten abuse from individuals about whether it is safe for them to work because the PCR tests were perceived to be not sensitive enough, due to the chances of a false negative being much higher in the early stages of infection!

Amazing how the media can spin a narrative based on nothing and people actually believe it

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.politico.com/amp/news/2020/04/02/coronavirus-governors-2024-election-160125

How was it based on "nothing"?

Those governors, including the likes of DeWine and Hogan, were perceived to be stepping up at that particular moment, around the same time that Trump was pushing dubious pharmaceutical and disinfectant treatments and being in general denial about the seriousness of the pandemic.

Cuomo may have made a bad decision on the nursing homes, but it wasn't clear at that point. He had yet to go down the road of trying to hide the nursing home deaths. His sexual harassment scandals were almost a year away. What everyone was seeing was a sober leader taking the pandemic seriously and giving calm, mature guidance and updates to the public as NYC was suffering the first severe outbreak in the US.

At least he's not ripping them out of their parents arms and shipping them off across the country to who knows where in a dehumanizing attempt to intimidate other people into not coming.

These migrant kids will be dealt with as humanely as possible. Biden's base won't stand for otherwise.

Unlike Trump's, who cheered every desperate mother's wail.

He's too busy undoing Trump's agenda.

But yeah, he should get out there now and again.

But its also hilarious how the likes of yourself are so wedded to the Alzheimer Joe narrative. Whatever gives you comfort I guess. There's certainly none coming from the GOP side.

ii don't think he can handle being asked questions off the cuff by the press , why that is only time will tell , but it can't solely be because he's gaffe prone that doesn't cut it anymore.

I know what you were referring to. It's all over the news.

Hence "these migrant kids will be dealt with as humanely as possible".

My point was that it's unfortunate, but it's not a deliberate policy to dehumanize and to satisfy the cruelty of a constituency.

Regardless, they can't just wish adequate facilities into existence. It's going to take time.

Trump would be, and was, just shipping them back across the border.

He did fine in the debates.

Which were five months ago.

So they are temporary holding facilities now that  it's happening under a Democrat whereas they were cages and concentration camps when it happened under Trump-fair enough
