Wouldn't have scored if they were there for another hour. They were all poor tonight. Lallana is a useless cnut and offers nothing anymore.
A draw in the other game would do nicely now as it would still leave us top of the group I think.
Last game against Napoli will probably be a winner takes all game.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Jeepers oh but that was awful...need results in Paris and against Napoli now, which will be very difficult

Plenty of chances to win that despite not being at our best.
Disappointing.

You'd wonder if we are ever going to hit top from, Salah is off the boil to put it mildly, he doesn't seem to want to get involved in anything physical. We should have scored a bagful yesterday, but didn't, again.
Three Two very winnable games coming up before we meet PSG.

Fixed that
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Red Star worked tirelessly and earned a deserved win. One of Liverpool's worst if not their worst ever Champions league result. Should still get out of that group though.

Just tuned in to watch and its over! Maybe for the best by the looks of it

Main Street

Liverpool listless but Red Star had a brilliant 1st half, doing Liverpool at their own game with a tireless, persistent high press, attractive attacking game. A good night for the home fans.

Captain Obvious

Some result for Crvena Zvezda that will probably be talked about in Belgrade for many years to come.

Armamike

Pure dross. Mentally weren't at it.  Sturridge misses a sitter and it all goes to shite after that.  Matip is as weak as water.  Don't want to see Lallana start another game anytime soon.  At this stage Salah needs 'rested'.  Would like to see Shaqiri given a start at the weekend.  He deserves his chance.
That's just, like your opinion man.

They have won the competition before you know

Here, the present red star team are a poor relation to past teams.  Can't use that wan!

Even so the winning past is valuable at the margin. A lot of sport is psychological.
Look at the difference between Offaly and Westmeath or Tipperary and Waterford.

Red Star wanted that game more and Liverpool weren't up for it. Not one Liverpool player looked to beat their man and drive at the Red Star defence. There was a ten minute spell were they looked like they would score but Red Star weathered it and it was obvious we weren't getting anything after that.
I know it's an age old excuse but the officials were terrible, it was like a European away game from the 70s were the home side got every single decision. Then they lay down after every Liverpool attack like they were on life support. You can call it game management or whatever you like, but it was blatant and the officials didn't want to know.
Incredible atmosphere inside the stadium, one of the best I've been to. They did a lap of honor at the end and all the LFC fans gave them an ovation. No complaints from anyone, the best team on the night won.

That Purple Aki away kit wants binning.
You can't live off history and tradition forever

Asked to explain what went wrong in Belgrade, Klopp replied: "I only have 10 fingers."
