Justice John Roberts indeed.

Michael T McKibben and Leader Technologies were the real inventors of Social Networking,
Leader hired Attorney James C Chandler and on his advice the invention was reduced to practice before he would file the patent. By doing so Chandler proceeded to steal the patent and give it to Bill Gates #2, Mark Zuckerberg, thus the world was introduced to Facebook. Crooked Chandler was also instrumental in the rise of Barack Obama.

Eventually Leader and Facebook went to court. By now several judges held substantial Facebook financial interests (along with politicians) and attorney conflicts.

Enter Chief Justice John Roberts who rallied behind Facebook without disclosing his holdings of Facebook financial interests and his relationship to Facebook's attorneys. Leader Technologies did not stand a chance. Hundreds of billions of USD were stolen.

I did a bit of reading over the weekend about how the GOP and Fox collude to create their
alternative reality of caravans and Kavanaughs to scare the bejaysus out of red State poor and middle class, totally polarise the country , stop any sort of solutions emerging, get the votes and then implement the policy to shaft the same voters. It is very Scooby Do.
The US is a mess.

.........

Andrew Gillum, an African American candidate for governor in Florida, was targeted by a robocall that says in a demeaning minstrel accent: "Well, hello there. I is the negro Andrew Gillum and I'll be askin' you to make me governor of this here state of Florida." His Republican opponent, Ron DeSantis, previously urged voters not to "monkey this up". Gillum said during a debate: "I'm not calling Mr DeSantis a racist – I'm simply saying the racists believe he's a racist."

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump
"A very big part of the Anger we see today in our society is caused by the purposely false and inaccurate reporting of the Mainstream Media that I refer to as Fake News,". It has gotten so bad and hateful that it is beyond description. Mainstream Media must clean up its act, FAST!"

Donald J. Trump

@realDonaldTrump

The Fake News is doing everything in their power to blame Republicans, Conservatives and me for the division and hatred that has been going on for so long in our Country. Actually, it is their Fake & Dishonest reporting which is causing problems far greater than they understand!

https://crooked.com/articles/midterms-2016-all-over-again/

Here's some information that might come as a surprise to you if you're a casual news consumer weighing your options ahead of the midterms:
   •   Central American migrants caravanning through Mexico are not a national security threat to the United States.
   •   The caravan is not filled with criminals and "Middle Easterners."
   •   Democrats had nothing to do with the formation of the caravan.
   •   Democrats do not want the caravaners to cross the southern border undetected and disappear into the United States.
   •   People in California are not rioting about sanctuary cities, on either side of the issue.
   •   Democrats do not want to give luxury automobiles to Central American migrants or unauthorized immigrants or anyone else.
   •   Illegal immigration and crime are at near-historic lows.
   •   There is no Republican plan to cut middle-income taxes, before the election or after.
   •   Democrats have no plan to destroy Medicare.
   •   There is no $110 billion arms deal with Saudi Arabia.
   •   Our arms trade with Saudi Arabia does not, and will not, generate anywhere close to a million jobs.
Republicans' campaign strategy in part entails convincing as many people as possible that the opposite of each of these bullet points is true, and judging by the at-times credulous way political media has covered their claims, they are surely having some success.
But the larger purpose of all the disinformation—about Democrats paying Muslim caravaners to infiltrate the country, and Republicans advancing a middle-class tax cut plan that doesn't exist—is to pervade the news environment with storylines that, beyond the slander and lies, aren't particularly relevant to next month's vote. And to that end, it has been a stunning success.
Credulous or critical, the news is absolutely saturated with coverage of these issues. There have been plenty of stories debunking President Trump's claims about the composition of the caravan, and the risk it poses to the United States. If you burrow into the details, you'll probably learn that Trump has fabricated a Republican middle-income tax cut plan from whole cloth, because the corporate tax cut he actually signed is terribly unpopular. But every column inch and minute of airtime spent scrutinizing fiction is lost forever and does nothing to actually inform people about the true stakes of the coming midterms.

Before 2016, the media's peculiar obsessions convinced millions of people that the choice in 2016 was between two comparably corrupt and dishonest politicians, one who had suspicious, secret emails, and another who wanted to toughen immigration laws. The fact that Trump would try to gut environmental and financial regulation, kick millions of people off their health plans, funnel the "savings" to the rich and corporations, and alter the course of American jurisprudence for a generation went almost completely uncommented on in the mainstream press, even though it was written into his agenda.

1.Gingrich looked into the camera and said the election was about two things, " Kavanaugh and the Caravan" All day, every day, Fox News and the Trump propaganda industry spews forth an unrelenting river of conspiracy theories, venom and lunacy and like a precision guided munition
2 It finds its intended targets. Among them are the feeble minded, sick and racist. It's singular purpose is incitement and it is working. A migration of poor and desperate human souls has been turned into an invading army; a Panzer division about to crash through

3. America's southern border. The intent is as malignant as it is purposeful. There is only one goal and that is to create a frenzy of craziness before an election where the American people will have their first opportunity to repudiate the vile and filthy regime led by Trump.

4. Now we see the terrible cost of Trumpism. The lies, conspiracy theories, coded racist and anti Semitic language, intimations of violence and declarations that opponents are enemies of the state and people have activated the evil people who attempted the largest assassination
5. Plot  in American history and gunned down 11 Americans at a Temple in Pittsburgh. They have been radicalized by the contagious poison of an American President and his Fellow travelers.  The hour of pretending there is no causation between the rhetoric and the violence is over
The stated motives of these Terrorists is a recitation of the message flowing like sewage from the White House, Fox News, Judicial Watch, Mark Levine, Limbaugh and Gingrich.  It is not accidental and it is not coincidental. It is the deadly and inevitable consequence of Trump

In the right-wing fever swamps, where the president's every word is worshipped, commenters began amplifying Trump's exhortations with new details.

Trump is reportedly aware that his claims about the caravan are false. An administration official told the Daily Beast simply, "it doesn't matter if it's 100 percent accurate ... this is the play." The "play" was to demonize vulnerable people with falsehoods in order to frighten Trump's base to the polls.

Ordinarily, a politician cannot be held responsible for the actions of a deranged follower. But ordinarily, politicians don't praise supporters who have mercilessly beaten a Latino man, as "very passionate." Ordinarily, they don't offer to pay supporters' legal bills if they assault protesters on the other side. They don't praise acts of violence against the media. They don't defend Nazi rioters as "fine people." They don't justify sending bombs to their critics by blaming the media for airing criticism. Ordinarily, there is no historic surge in anti-Semitism, much of it targeted at Jewish critics, coinciding with a politician's rise. And ordinarily, presidents do not blatantly exploit their authority in an effort to terrify white Americans into voting for their party. For the past few decades, most American politicians, Republican and Democrat alike, have taken care not to urge their supporters to take matters into their own hands. Trump did everything he could to fan the flames, and nothing to restrain those who might take him at his word.

This repulsive and dangerous filth is bring spewed courtesy of a publicly owned corporation. Will no one on the board, in management, or in a position of influence at Fox speak up? Will no one act? Or is Fox perfectly happy to give bigotry sanction and violence its assistance?

https://www.rawstory.com/2018/10/fox-friends-hosts-give-guest-free-rein-dismiss-terrorist-mail-bombs-left-wing-conspiracy/amp/?__twitter_impression=true

former FBI counterterrorism expert appeared Friday morning on "Fox & Friends" to peddle conspiracy theories about mail bombs sent to President Donald Trump's critics.
Suspicious packages intended for Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, CNN and other Trump foes were discovered this week, and former FBI agent Chad Jenkins said the fact that no one has been injured should be considered suspicious.
"Well, it's just one, zero-for-10 on any of these devices going off?" Jenkins told Fox News. "We still have not gotten concrete information from law enforcement whether any of these devices actually were rigged, completely ready to go."
Jenkins argued that left only two possibilities.
"One, we have the worst right-wing bomb maker in history," he said, "or we have a false flag operation, where it's a left-wing type of operation to create hysteria and to play on the hearts and minds of those independents and undecideds come the midterm."

The most effective thing Americans can do is boycott companies that advertise on Fox. They bankroll the poison that goes from the studio into Trump's head. The second is vote.

Fox is a menace, a purveyor of conspiracy and anti-immig hate. It's where rants against Soros are commonplace and the "nationalist" pres is defended. If you're a conserv pundit what the hell are you doing on their shows? If you're an advertiser why have products assoc with Fox?

As a country we have to come to grips that a powerful corporation, Fox News, is responsible for the systematic spread of racial and religious bigotry.  the president and his partners at Fox everyday spread bizarre conspiracies designed to  incite Americans.  It's working.

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2018/oct/27/megyn-kelly-blackface-comments-nbc-show-cancelled-what-happened

Given the timing of the cancellation of Megyn Kelly's NBC show, just a few days after she defended blackface Halloween costumes on air, it will be easy for opponents of political correctness to rally against liberal media overreach, outrage culture and corporate censure. Just as easy, perhaps, as it should've been for NBC to see how ill-fated hiring Kelly was in the first place.

Megyn Kelly's NBC show cancelled after blackface controversy
Read more

For $69m over three years, the folks at 30 Rock believed they could remake a former Fox News firebrand in their image, moving her from night to morning, from right to center, from hard news to soft. But Kelly's blackface comments, which earned rebuke from colleagues and network chairman Andy Lack, were merely the last straw.

Trump has branded NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC as enemies of the people, while redirecting his supporters to Fox News, which he exempts from the "mainstream" even though it's the country's most-watched news network.
For the president, such division is politically expedient. But conservatives in Hollywood and the news media, like Kelly and Greta Van Susteren, whose six-month stint at MSNBC also bombed, find themselves in limbo, forced to pull the wool over the eyes of left and centrist audiences or return to rightwing media, where full-throated devotion to Trump has become a prerequisite.

Kelly was supposed to help NBC appeal to Americans on the left and the right, but all she did was perpetuate the dangerous ignorance and anxiety many white Americans feel in an increasingly diverse America. This misguided rhetoric only drives us further apart, so it only makes sense for Kelly and NBC to part ways too.

A white guy killed two black people in Kentucky last week after trying to target a black church.

But there's been little talk about it due to him basically being upstaged by the pipe bomber and the Pittsburgh lowlife.

But anyway.... time to get back to the caravan... and Democratic mobs...

President Trump badly needs to repeal H.R 5736. The Smith Mundt Act was amended in 2012 in order to give legal cover to main stream media when they propagandize the people and that is 95% of the time. So the government is admitting we are being lied to.

Good take on it here by former Clinton political consultant Naomi Wolf.
