The front 3 can get at most defences on the break and are probably the most dangerous attacking line left in the competition

Happy enough with that but any team that beats Barca 3 nil needs to be respected.  Based on the improvements in the defending of late, Liverpool have it in them to get to the final.

The squad is thread bare as it is with matip & Can out and the attacking options off the bench as very limited.

Liverpool's run of fixtures from now until May 2nd is a good one - Bournemouth (H), WBA (A), Stoke (H).

Roma have Lazio, Genoa, SPAL and Chievo. They've an extra midweek game next week.

If Chelsea drop points in their next two games, CL qualification could be in the bag by the time of the Stoke game.

Whereas Roma are in a dogfight for CL qualification.

Are Roma not more dangerous than Bayern/Real in the sense they'll sit back and try to counter?

Liverpool tend to hammer sides that come on to them - Arsenal, City etc whereas they struggle to break defensive sides down.

You gotta be happy with Roma as they are the worst team left in the hat on paper, as Liverpool were for them. Any side that can beat Barca 3 nil are obviously a top team. I like the fact we are home first, clean sheet is a must.

Any team beating Man City 3-0 and 2-1 in a cup competition against the manager that made Barca the huge team they are today has more than enough skill and guile to go on and be confident of beating what's left

The team we play now is the team that beat Barcelona and the team they are today.
But your right Liverpool should not fear anybody at this stage
