He be a better back up than Lambert or Borini though wouldn't he?

This Benteke rumour won't go away. I'm not sure about him.
I fear he is just a black Andy Carroll.

Big time

Guys i'm a Celtic man so i'm not going to come in here and says things that I don't know much about but one thing I was hoping u guys could clear up for me is the transfer policy at the club. I read A Shearer's comments last week about Rodgers transfer kitty and how much he's spent but I was always under the impression that there was a transfer committee in place at Anfield which they took control of who the club signed and who they didn't? If this is the case how can Rodgers be blamed for the big spend and he's obviously to manage players bought by others...Who is responsible for offering Kolo a 1 year extension to his deal at the age of 34 who can hardly hold down a place in the team?

I can swim a little but i can't fly an inch

Today is the 30th anniversary of Heysel riot.

I remember watching it, wondering whether it could be for real. A shameful day for Liverpool FC. RIP.

Hard to believe it's 30 years ago.

I guess it was a turning point for English hooliganism, but there should have been more done to protect fans and prevent what eventually happened at Hillsborough.

an absolutely terrible night. Being so young, I didn't appreciate how awful it was, my main concern was that the game might not go ahead (the innocence of youth)!

Remember Phil Neal being interviewed before hand, the interviewer pointed out that he had his shorts on backwards. Neal said he'd keep them that way and always wear them backwards if they won. The match was a distance second place to what happened on that terrace

Liverpools eternal shame that should never be forgotten. RIP.

One of my earliest memories of a football match and can remember the build up that day at school and walking home with some lads and talking about the great Italian team. When trouble started went back outside to play football and would pop in and out to see if the game had started, was a late night and been 9, my only concern was that Liverpool lost. Naivety of youth.

Doesn't read well for Phil Neal
Christ he sounds like a right cnut alright.

I read that earlier and thought WTF and I don't ever speak or think in text speak!  He comes across really poorly.

Was at Hysel that summer... In those days you could slip into large stadiums health and safety not high on agendas back then.. the wall hadn't even been cleared away, bricks still lying around the area where they were crushed... Lot of ill feeling that summer I was there towards English speaking people... They ran riot through the shops of Brussels grand place that day/night.. Lot of looting also... Seems like a unreal story now thinking back, thankfully never to be repeated!!

Millner off to Liverpool??
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

No more relevant than it was then but certainly no less.
