On the lucky injury list that you seem to imagine - how does this sound

Suarez - missed first 6 games
Gerrard and Sturridge missed 6 & 9 games respectively around the Xmas period, missing the games v Chelsea and City (great luck that is)
Agger - missed more than 1/2 the season
Enrique - missed 3/4 of the season
Sakho - has only played 11 games out of 32 due to injury

Lucas has missed the last two months as well.

Joe Allen has had his fair share of injuries this season as well. Glen Johnson was out for a month also.

It has been wonderful watching all the Man Utd fans and their proxies trying to redefine what a satisfactory season is to Liverpool supporters. At this rate it won't be long before they'll be saying that not winning the Champions League this year amounts to failure.

And the Grand National, and Wimbledon.

Not trying to define what a satisfactory season is to you but if you're sure Liverpool will be in this position or better next season and the season after with 6 games to go then ye should kick back and enjoy 3rd. Getting to this point in a season in the situation Liverpool are in is not easy, 6 games for a League title is a lot easier that 38 games. The progress made by Rodgers this year has been huge, and fair play to him, but I wouldn't count on the same progress next year. Of course this is only an opinion, only you can say what is Satisfactory for a Liverpool supporter.

They are tring to convince themselves that it can't happen again!
The big three (Liverpool,City and Chelsea) all will strengthen and I expect the gap to the rest to get bigger.

Hard to see how the Liverpool players could not be inspired by this.  Would expect the sound at the Man city and Chelsea games to be something else again.
That's just, like your opinion man.
