the worrying thing at the minute is that with Suarez is only one booking away from a suspension and borini out injured , the squad looks paper thin, particularly in attacking options.
already 3 teenages (sterling, suso & wisdom ) have played  regularly and shelvey who is only 20, has played alot.
as good as these young lads have been, they cant be expected to play every week in a 50+ game season
Rodgers will be hoping he can get till January were at least one attacking playe has to be brought in.

Now I know the linesman didn't flag for this but was Coates not climbing all over the Everton defender?  It looked like a foul to me.

Completely irrelevant. He was up a height but no more all over him. Given for offside which was incorrect. Liverpool should have won but they didn't. Not worried in slightest as its a hell of a start playing Utd, City, Arsenal and the derby in opening games. Actually looking forward to rest of the season.

It's the lesser teams Liverpool struggle against.

They'll be ok. Yes they have struggled to score against 'lesser' teams, but that was especially when Suarez wasn't scoring much. He's 2nd top scorer so far in the league. As I said, they'll be alright.

Can't say I'm surprised. We have a paper thin squad once we have a few injuries and then trying to rest players on top of that. Some of the youngsters have real potential but the squad is probably short 3 or 4 players. Minimum.

Squad is paper thin alright, Can't say Rodgers will be to disappointed in getting knocked out. This and the Europa League are unwanted distractions when there is such a small squad and only the voltile Suarez up front.

Wanting out of the League Cup and Europa league, what does that leave when mid table is calling in the PL?
Other managers would have got the road for less lads.

Well the usual so far. Have had pretty much all the play but don't score and Newcastle score right on half-time with pretty much their first decent attack. You can write this script every week.

Completely toothless up front. Unless Suarez scores nobody else is going to. Usually they just give him the ball and let him off to do his own thing. You are not gonna score goals unless you get players attacking the opposition penalty area. Not farting about outside it.
