No odds up on paddy power on ladbrokes as yet UTB.

To win ulster you need a fair slice of luck i feel i.e the way it is ran of quit quickly keeping players free of injury and suspension is essential, especially if strength in depth is an issue.

Think st gall's are rightly favourites, coming through yesterdays battle should stand to them as they barely got out of 3rd gear in antrim. Ogs will celebrate well and rightly so, think galls will have too mcuh up front.

Dromore were very lucky to win yesterday but tough side of the draw.

Connor McManus has been on fire for Clontibret so alot of their hopes will be on him.

Loup are dogged and pretty experienced at grinding out results and with home advantage would be favoured to pass Derrygonnelly. Depends how much derrygonnelly really want it or just content with county championship.

Think kilcoo and eunan's is very hard to gauge.

the tiger tee's off at 9.09am i think it is 2moro. Paddy Power going 3/1 enhanced shop special today. Tempting

I had a bit of Goosen 40/1, McDowell 66/1, Mahan 30/1
& S.Cink 150/1.

Probably put the kiss of death on them now!!  :D

Just double checked to be sure, Paddy Power paying 1/4 odds for top 7.
Keeping up with the Jones' Our Nail?  :D

Just out of interest..........
Speaking closely with a golf fanatic and VERY heavy punter last night. I do the odd golf bet myself but had an in depth conversation with him and I enquired what his tactic would be for this tournament. He studies it very closely and he said he will be backing Mahan, McDowell and Ogilvy at big prices. He will then back Tiger with a bang in the hope that he starts just OK or not powerful and his price drifts a bit. Best case scenario a couple of his 3 selections at big prices start well and are in the hunt, and he can potentially lay off the tiger on betfair. Win-win for him as he will have backed tiger at a bigger price.

be very interesting to note derry team selection on saturday. There is no way Diver should be moved out of midfield after his performance against Tyrone. Re-jigging the shape of the team to accomodate Patsy could prove a hinderance. Dont get me wrong I think Patsy is a great player.
I hope Brian Mullan starts anyway. Cant be a place for Lynn or Brown IMO but could be brought in.

I think the ref will be VERY strict early on and umpires and linesmen will play a big role also after all the bad publicity about the game in Celtic Park. This may clean up the game as a spectacle, here's hoping.

With all the goings on in derry of late, i cant see a lot of supporters voting with their feet and travelling to Clones. Everyone was down after the Tyrone defeat and its manner but at the end of the day even if kerry were playing tyrone this weekend or any team in Ireland for that matter, tyrone would be favourites. I hope a bit of pride is restored in the jersey and derry put up a good fight and dont drop the heads at any stage. Has been all too common the past couple of years, in games where we have trailed by a slim enough margin, it feels like ten points behind. Dont want to see body language like that on the field!

Derry can still win, Im going for a hesitant two point win.

Was it just me or how amateur did the draw look on TV last night? putting two balls into the middle bowl to declare home advantage. The boy staring down at them and giving them one swirl around then out they come! Maybe no coincidence that all of the qualifier winners from the weekend got home advantage bar westmeath wasn't it?

FAO nrico2006 re: key players absent.

I think every man fully fit and available for selection i.e not in Oz, the certain starters that derry are missing on sunday would be; Fergal Doc, Big Niall, Big Enda, Patsy Bradley, Mickey McGoldrick who Cassidy rates very highly.

Liam Hinphey & Brian Mullan would have been close as well but probably not have started with the development of the McGoldrick's in the halfback line.

But regardless of all that its unfair to the players available and disrespectful to emphasise the men missing. Still think derry can turn in a big performance, hopefully playing something like they played at the start of the second half in Omagh in the league.
Still be a massive ask but looking forward to a good game, wont be more than a kick off the ball either way id imagine.

Looking forward to sunday big time. Anticipating a big crowd, and with u16's getting in free im also expecting a big gather up of belfast cub's running around causing havoc!  :D

Would almost bet that the game will be delayed due to a late influx and this will be slowed down with cash handling as opposed to just handing in tickets.

Derry club's to get 4 tickets for the stand as far as a gather.

On the game, i think if derry are to win, skinner may have to be brought into the half forward line if supply is not coming in, diver and lynch will have to run direct with the ball and when derry dont have the ball every man has to go back to basics and mark man-for-man. Easier said than done maybe at times but if cavanagh, dooher and co. get enough possession even from range they can punish. Putting davy harte and Jordan on the backfoot is paramount for derry.
Im hoping that the recent airing of derry's dirty laundry in public will galvanise the team and get a spirited performance. Quietly confident if we are there or thereabouts come 15 minutes from the end.

Shame pat mc eneaney is not in charge, at least you would know what to expect, top quality.

yeah, know where you are coming form full back. Just think the process is a shambles, 10 days on from the game and we are none the wiser with regards to the potential suspensions.
Just really irked me that Dick Clerkin who was out from the word go to act the maggott with Doc has got away scott-free.
Encouraged to see Derry pull together though when Doc got the line last time out. Sometimes things like this can really galvanise a team and get the motivation up. Hard to tell

yeah, whats the story or speculation coming out of both camps on the injury front?

Lads, can anyone confirm the results of both teams recent challenge games?

Wont count for a pile come Sunday but just curious.
