General discussion / Re: EURO 2012

Missed last nights programme on Panorama, hoping to catch it tonight. Do people genuinely think Irish fans could be in for a hostile reception in Polska? Personally i wouldnt have thought so. Surely our pasty skin will bode well for us there.

Huge disappointment to hear Delaney is behind some drink aware campaign and wont be throwing the FAI credit card behind the bars in Polska.

General discussion / EURO 2012
April 26, 2012, 07:29:31 PM
Anyone on here heading over to the Euro's? Myself and 8 buddies are heading over for 7 days. The plan is tospend 2 days in Gdansk, 3 in Poznan and the final 2 in Kracow where we fly home from. Bit of a headache booking accomodation etc at the minute. Looking for something relatively cheap (nasty is acceptable) but hoping to get it in and around central areas. Anyone else have anything booked or any good suggestions? Might be a good idea to brainstorm. Apologies if a thread already exists.

Out of curiosity who would peoples top 3 players in the country be. Personally i would have Michael Murphy in there. Also a big fan of Declan O'Sullivan. Thoughts?

Guys whats the story with him transferring? Know he was on Dublin Panel yet was playing for the Brigids second team - seems a bit strange. Was there a big fallout?

GAA Discussion / Re: Group C - Derry

Glad to get off to a winning start and give new faces some game time. From Cavans perspective i thought they completely dominated midfield. Both guys were on top and drove forward at every opportunity, maybe a bit 2 much at times. Also a strong performance from the no6 - reilly is it? Both corner backs also had good games. McCamley did offer good protection for the defence for Derry but thought we were cleaned out in the middle.

Still good to get the win and get a bit of momentum with a very experimental team.
