I'd say there's a few opportunists who just need quick access to cash they don't have to pay off other debt. I refuse to believe every single person is so stupid to think they'd get away with stealing money.

Did something similar not happen before with Ulster bank?

Yes and they had to pay it back. Obv some people who don't care about their credit score probably didn't. These people complain how things aren't fair yet only take from society and give nothing back. BOI and others should debank them. (unbank? whatever the term is).

Couldn't pay me to do a wet trade and anyone with an ounce of sense wants nothing to do with that kind of work. Technology and a change in building techniques will make a lot of trades obsolete. Only a matter of time till your architect gives the drawing to a machine and it stiches your wooden frame house together. More and more work will become automated. AI and automation, that's where it's all headed.

Bank of Ireland ATMS giving out money not in accounts. But it was debiting the account, so unauthorised overdraft charge coming up.

Absolute morons, every single one of them.

Saw a follow-up video where they all go straight to an electrical store after to buy huge flat screen TVs  ::)

These people walk amongst us. Incidents like this show us what society is really like.

It was a pen from what I seen. Utd got very lucky last night. A better team would've hammerred them. 3 points in the bag a lot of work to do for spurs on sat. Mount and casemiro were very poor last night. Garnacho not yet a starter.

Garnacho lost the ball over and over again. Took the wrong option too many times. Lots to learn.
Agree on Casemiro and Mount.
Thought Fernandes had a shocker as well.

EtH has his work cut out.

Was chatting to someone in work today. One of these 'My friends, sisters, husband's brother is in the police..........' stories. She said they are going to be heavily compensated. I doubt every police officer in the north will be heavily compensated, will they?

Not just police officers in this, there are loads of civilian staff who will be looking compensated as well.

Compensation could bankrupt them.

So it now appears that the dissidents do have the data from this leak last week. I would imagine that the PSNI will be hit with a avalanche of sick leave, and resignations. I doubt any Catholic would consider joining now. I don't know what this will mean for law and order in the north.

Years of trying desperately to coax catholics in, and then even trying to employ more west of the bann and get more catholics in by proxy. All undone by one mistake. Who from Tyrone/Derry/Armagh is going to want the job now, considering they're paid buttons? It's a complete disaster.

Nobody with an ounce of cop-on (LOL!) would consider signing up.

I know  you can't exactly  go all Amish  with kids  these days regarding technology , but  I see worrying trends.

Friends of ours have  3 kids (under 7) , all had an iPad  from around a year old .  The kids don't  seem to  be able to travel in the  car , eat their  dinner  or entertain themselves without the  pads.  Countless times  I've heard both parents bemoaning about the pads ,  giving out to the kids for constantly being on them , or  not finding something else  to do .  At the same time , a fortune is spent at Xmas and birthdays on other toys , which are  never looked at, nor does the  time on the pads seem to be curtailed

Know of 2  instances of teens with  clear addiction issues and behavioural  issues regarding phones . Basically , it seems  to me because the parents   never curtailed the  amount of time spent on them . The kids got used to  being on them as much as they  wanted , and  now it's near impossible to deal with . One having anxiety issues and  other won't go to school or do  anything  they're told .  Everything's a screaming match, violent outbursts , the lot. Everything is all about  the phone . Hygiene, hanging out, reading,  sport, friends  ,all  gone for a burton, as Del Boy would say.
I have relatives in the same boat.  All kids under 5 have their own tablets and are never off them.  The two younger ones have issues talking and interacting.  The 5 year old has no interest in outdoor activities anymore, and has serious bags under his eyes.

My brother on the other hand is the opposite with his kids roughly the same age.  They have a tablet between 4 of them, but they are not dependent on it and they have a lot of outside the house activities to get on with.

In an odd social experiment type way I am curious to see how they all pan out over the back of it.

Each to their own, but my kids won't be sitting slaving away over tablets when they are young, no need for it.

You have to parent. Ours have defined rules and screen time. No substitute for outside.

It is for a long flight and wouldnt want them hooked on it but they prefer outside to TV at the moment and it will stay that way

I still think an iPad is the way to go.
If you download movies or tv shows put it on airplane mode and check all is downloaded a few days before. Also download to early or it will expire. Got caught out once before. Was not a fun experience.

Looks like Caicedo doesn't want to go to Liverpool.

Why, (if true) would he prefer Chelsea? strange

Money, Money Money!! Money

Has Klopp lost his pulling power? Surely Liverpool. bar the city and extra wages, is a far better choice?

He has been set on going to Chelsea since May when they agreed personal terms, just couldn't agree on a fee with Brighton

It's embarrassing from a Liverpool standpoint. You'd have thought they'd have sounded out his representatives before launching a British transfer record bid. It's really amateur. The kind of thing Utd and that w**ker Woodward would have been at.
And now the cat is out of the bag... every deal they do will carry a Liverpool tax. This will end up costing them in the long run a huge amount of money.
