The article sounds like a propaganda piece. I'd say those responsible would have shot the horse in the head. Machine gunned to bleed to death like many of their victims is overly dramatic and not the MO of the oglaigh Na heireann.

The Oglaigh were masters in murdering humans but that sort of expertise is not necessarily transferable to horses . It is like anything else - if they only did it once how could they do it properly? Assume the cause is just - it doesn't follow that the oglach is omniscient or omnicompetent . And in fairness  attention to detail would not be a national trait . Even up north.

What on earth is going on in Cavan?? Where are all these great U.21 players?

Problem is the scarcity of lads in their prime, age 27 to 32 or so. There are pretty much none so these young lads have no team to come into and are expected to go straight into key positions. They have to learn fast or we'll go down.

Lynchboy, , noticed a lot of old Thrash there. Got the old Thrash tapes out a few summers ago but i found a lot of it didn't age very well.

Why don't some of you lot check out and support Irish bands, there is a healthy scene  here with about a dozen bands releasing albums via reputable Record Labels. Most of them are 10 times more popular abroad, due in no small way to the conservative nature of the Irish media.
