Two draws would not be bad, but hopefully United can do another double over the scousers.  I expect Vidic/Rio to keep Torres in their back pockets and feed him on farts just like they did at the smash and grab at the council house.

QuoteWell he has yet to score against Chelsea or Liverpool so if he does score on Sunday it will go against the formbook.......

I see Torres is doing well for Liverpool, but what 'big' teams has he scored against?  The mighty Inter and one against Chelsea.  Is that it?

Apparently, it was something to do with McGreevey telling a lad or two to clear off from outside his house where they were drinking or whatever and they/he came back later and launched the attack.  Heard this last night but how true it is I don't know.

QuoteMagheralin/Maralin (near Lurgan).

Pronounced the same way I think but its spelt a different way by both sides.

I thought it was called Magheralin and pronounced more like Maralin until I saw a van with the name 'maralin' on it the other day, and then I thought that it was put on the van incorrectly by some plonker.

As for Ballinascreen, I always thought that was the parish and Draperstown was the town just.

Donemana/Dunamanagh - still pronounced the same way, unless someone wants to start a thread on places which have several ways of being spelt.

It'll be interesting next year to see how the like of Ballyhale fare when they have Shefflin and Cha back.

Has anyone flew with Ryanair from Northern Ireland to England recently?  I am flying from Derry to Bristol and was wondering if a driving license was sufficient ID.  There is conflicting information on their website and they don't like to be contacted.

Thanks.

QuoteSure Dooher's a Derry man and Mellon and Holmes are Armagh men.

Dooher is from Derry?  First I heard of that.  As for Holmes, the fact that he plays for Armagh Harps doesn't make him an Armagh man.

QuoteRoma have improved a lot since last year.

Maybe they have, but United comfortably saw them off this year.

Good draw for United, but still Roma will have a point to prove after the groups and last year.  I would still rather play them than Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool or Barcelona at this stage.

Yeah, I would like to see Justin get a run in the team now as I think he has the ability to play at No.3 and provide a solution to the problem long-term.  Good to see McGee back in contention aswell.  Hopefully now the forwards can better on and regain abit of confidence for the rest of the year.

We were doing skipping in the boxing gym before xmas, combining it with punchbag workouts.  Basically on the rope we were doing 3 minutes on and then a minute off.  We maybe did 6/7 sets of that which actually was very good.  I started doing it in the house there too, the time flies and its handy if you can do it in the living room with the TV on.  Just increase the time if you wish after you're more comfortable, but 3 minutes is enough.  What I did was to try and count how many skips I did each time and try and better it the next.

QuoteIt first dawned on me with The Man from Tallahassee (sp.?) and it was the only logical explanation as to how they could get him on to the Island

I never could get my head around how they got him there.  I read that article there now, unbelievable - you now wonder how that could be wrong.
