Who was the minutes silence for in that game by the way? Just out of curiosity?

Quote from: WBF on September 15, 2016, 03:01:52 PM
So the minutes silence was for a Carrickmore man who I can ensure you now Gavan McElroy was in no way disrespecting and none of Packie's family members would have thought that as I was standing with a few of them!

Also redhanddefender you've taken this up wrong, im not asking people to respect Carrickmore lol, im saying that it is respect being shown to other teams by us and not what people were suggesting as trying to cling on to other teams success!

So you were standing with Packies family members but you didn't know the minutes silence was for Packie ??
This just gets better and better

Please quit would ye.  Is this board not for discussing football related topics?  For people to give their honest opinions?   I think 'In Hiding" just loves to give digs at people and trying to catch them out.  He obviously his knowledge on the game is minimal and can't add to topics.

lol i can't argue with you there

It will be a lot quieter on here next week. Id say cheltenham will disappear just as quickly as he appeared...
'16 for 16... nah don't think so

What is this 16 for 16 craic you talk about

Im assuming cheltenham means 2016 for title number 16

What about last year in pomeroy when Carrickmore showed absolutely no heart for a battle. Does that make them spineless ?
Actually since you're such an expert on the subject when was the last time the brave men of Carmen won a close championship game against a good team
Im keen to hear an answer to this question, for the life of me I can't remember the last time.

The moy match a few years ago?
Do you guys think carrickmores reputation precedes them? I wouldn't rule out any team with players like colm mc Gurk ruairi Loughran mickey Slane Marty penrose mark Donnelly in their side all battle hardened seasoned campaigners with more medals in their pockets than some posters on here.
Now you are being patronising, I think you'll find ruairi loughran mickey slane and marty penrose have the same number of tyrone senior championship medals as most posters on here. Indeed only some Mayo players have lost more finals than some of the carmen lads in recent years.

I notice the hoganstand tyrone forum doesn't see a lot of action these days and over the last wee while on here I can see why . . . .

And to answer the above idiot - not many teams without any balls beat Crossmaglen in championship football.

With everything there is exceptions. I can think of far more examples of omaghs soft centre than you can think of their hard core. I think the perceived perception of Omagh having a soft centre is a reality.

Excellent post cheltenham, its a good job carrickmore showed less balls in the county final two years ago  8)

Who beat carrickmore in last years championship ?

Omagh will be sick at losing that game. Last kick of the game - reminds me of a certain county final 2 years ago vs Carmen. Karma is a bitch.

Quote from: Helpline on September 12, 2016, 12:14:07 PM
Typical Omagh, too many players just glad to see there name on the team sheet they forget they have to actually knuckle down and grind out results. Killyclogher to beat Dromore in the final if they don't meet before..... Omagh v Ardboe should play for the title of 'Overrated underachievers'.

Lads what's it to be...
Omagh play to end and win or they don't knuckle down and lose.

In recent championships
Clonoe beat errigal by a point then lose to dromore by a point
Dromore beat clonoe by a point then lose to omagh by a point
Carrickmore beat Augher by 2 points then lose to omagh by point.
Killyclogher beat dromore by a point then lose to trillick by a point

The only typical thing about the top clubs in tyrone is that there's not much between them

6 mins of injury time played when there shouldve been 3.. apparently? Oonagh won't be happy.
Oonagh is raging.
Omagh probably a bit pissed off too

Open the discussion a bit then, who is the best referee(s) in the county?  Who walks through your club gate and you think "I'm happy enough with that"?

Shane Meehan

That's hilarious, a clonoe man saying shane meehan is the best ref in the county. Absolutely shafted conor meyler 4 or 5 times last Sunday. He was like Damien cassidy's puppet.   Best refs in the county are mc Hugh and hurson
Don't blame me "in hiding" omagh went into "hiding " and hadn't the balls to go on the attack !
Don't blame me ??
Be careful of those multiple accounts :o
Good luck vs dromore on Sunday lol

I hear Shane Meehan didn't get out of the Rahilly club until 6 on Monday morning.
Jeremiah, your choice of best ref is interesting too  ;)

Pomeroy really isnt fit to host a championship double header, they just dont have the facilities for 4 senior squads at the same time.

Surely it would have made more sense for the double header to be in carrickmore and the clonoe v omagh replay to be in Pomeroy?
Nah clonoe v omagh in pomeroy wouldn't really suit clonoe. They like dungannon
