I do wonder who exactly McGeeney is referring to here, can't seem to work out who it might be since I have not heard much criticism of the team this year apart from after the Fermanagh match.

It's obviously something he wanted to get off his chest.

Can someone translate what he is saying in the quoted parts as I have read it 3 times and still dont know what he is talking about.

Ros could win this. Tyrone better defensively than Ros and Ros have better forwards than Tyrone.

Genuine question - which of their forwards are better than Matty Donnelly, Niall Sludden or Peter Harte?

Murtagh and two smiths better than anything Tyrone have, just my opinion. I tbink Tyrone probably at their weakest in a decade at the moment. Cavan were within 3 points and tget were completely clueless. But then I look at what Ros were at in the last quarter against Armagh in defence and I wonder what they were at. It should be s good tight match but Ros are well capable of bucking history and winning

I really don't want to talk about the ref but if anyone thinks he favoured Armagh they need their heads looking at. I guess we all see the same things very differently

I watched as a neutral. Biggest slice of luck either team got was a very harsh peno and Armagh missed it. For me Ros were much better team but for some reason they started messing around in their back line and let Armagh back into it. Saying that I think Ros have gone backwards this year as Armagh aren't up to much. I think they will really struggle in super 8s if they don't get another 20% performance

Does there happen to be a chemical weapon plant near by to these two events? Or did Russians cone back again?

Super 8.
Haven't watch one full game in world cup yet
Mind you if the football is one sided crap I might turn over. Then again most world cup finals are crap too so I would probably turn back.

Contract? There's no such thing. It's no more than a gentleman's agreement which either party can break without penalty.

:o Isn't it still something to be positive about though? We ultimately won nothing with the U21s we had/have but we were knocking on the door a good many times, in fact were more or less there and yet contrived to come up short on a few occasions. Although underage success is never a guarantee of senior progress I'd rather have it than not, it's a no-brainer. Either way, I don't think Matty would be the man to manage it though.

Problem with an outside man is he wont do whats best for Cavan (walk away) he will do what is best for himself. He will have to be pushed. It will probably come down to the players. Many are getting football at a level they probably wouldnt be if everyone was available so I dont think there will be that many on the panel that want him out.  What we need is strong leadership from the county board. Make a hard call. I seriously doubt we will get that either so you can expect to see Mattie back next year with more Fabulous, Class etc nonsense.

We'll there'll be no Guards in Enniskillen this weekend to take flags from anyone inside the ground so I expect to see plenty being flown.

The powers that be were more concerned with a man playing a drum on the the terrace. What has the game become... must we remain in silence whilst the game is on??
What kind of a fecking eejit decides to bring a drum to a football match. Lucky it wasn't wrapped round his neck.

Saw that. What was going on?

So what do ye think now?

On the face of it the result wasn't terrible in that it wasn't a hammering even though i think that's the worst Tyrone team in 15 years. They were there for taking.

However you can't get away from the fact that cavan were totally clueless and had no attacking system. No head nor tail to selections. Left Clarke on for 5 mins after he pulled his hamstring. I don't think this manager will bring this team on. County board need to be brave and do the right thing.

Current mayo management in job 3 years I believe and have no silverware. Will they be allowed continue?

Tyrone much the better team but I'm afraid no where close to all Ireland contenders. Cavan need a new manager. They just looked like they have gone back 5 years in my eyes. It was sheer effort from individuals that kept them in games. Far from the clever masterstroke the bluffers on the Sunday game claim, playing Sean Johnston around the middle is just pure stupid as he has no legs for it. Losing Clarke to injury was a big blow too.

Two shit teams. Cavan just more shit and have no attacking plan at all. Pathetic stuff.
