I thought it was an excellent game and feel so bad for the kildare team and fans. The ref made a mess at the end and that decision won the game for dublin. That said, O'Gara should not have been sent off either which gave kildare a big advantage

I see it like this. In the past two ulster champoionship campaigns under POR we have had 2 good wins, giving a good platform to build from. However, we have failed to do so. This suggests to me that the team is incapable of putting 2 good championship performances together. The players ave to take some blame but as do, and more so, the management team.

Regarding McDonnells second goal chance......i think if you look again Mark Lynch finished from a very similar position.

I can't understand the criticism of McDonnell by Armagh folk....yes he's past his best but without him on Sunday it would have been cricket scores....jesus i wish we had him for the final!

bbc  indicated duffy tweaked a hamstring or something which is why he didnt start. Cant put 2 good performances together in championship football under POR, has to be something there

fair play to derry they were the better team but i dont think there was 9 points betwen the team. A mallon slip led to bradleys goal and a stupid error when two men went to one derry attacker leaving gilligan with a free run on goal led to the third goal. But like i said, the derry lads took their goals well and I hope they go on and win ulster now.

I think that rant was after a particular topic on an individual in Antrim GAA circles which IMO did overstep the mark and was removed on here also.

Looking forward to this one. Just hope we (armagh) dont do what we done last year after beating Derry and totally collapse in the next round.

I'm wondering what Armagh fans think of the team? I'm surprised Dyas has been moved to corner back, looks a little like a waste of his attacking potential. Not surprised Padden is CHF but also not frightened by it, see him as a work horse but not that great, no better than several other Armagh players but O'Rourke seems to really fancy him. What about the forwards, do you think this is a good combination? I don't know enough about how they all play to state an opinion.

Cant tspeak for others but Im happy with that side. I really do think we'll spring a surpriseon Sat night.

A good thing about living in England is that I dont get all the prematch buld up, ie who's injured, who might be injured and not playing etc. When I was at home - Lurgan - this used to occupy my mind all day everyday. Now, I just get snippets by coming on here. As a result, Im maybe more optimistic about an Armagh win than others, probably niavely so but who cares.
On a side note, anyone know anywhere in Newcastle, England, thatll be showing the game? Would be much appreciated as Im on a stag do there this weekend and dont wanna miss the BIG game of Saturday night

My only gripe with this is that im in newcastle england for a stag that weekend, and I better get somewhere to watch the match - Ard Mhacha v An Dun - and with the CL Final being on at the same time that may be hard to do
