Does anyone know where I can find out the winners of the monthly Friends of Armagh draw?  I haven't seen any prize winners in the papers`recently.  Thanks

TYP I hope Mr Hesketh doesn't lurk here.  Personally I wouldn't miss PMB, CASS and having been overwhelmed with indifference at the Hilton last week, DE and ETI!

General discussion / BHD parking rip off warning

Parking is expensive at Belfast City Airport.  Last week I  had to pick up a friend from there.  I arrived at 7.20am and the fee for two hours was £6.50.  His flight arrived at 8.20am and I met him 10 mins later.  I paid the fee and as we were leaving the terminal we met a friend and stood talking for 10 mins.  At the barrier the machine asked me for another £2.  I pressed the intercom and was told I had to pay it as I had taken more than 10 mins to get to the car.  A rip off!

I enjoyed the Harps Golf Classic. Well organised and good craic.   I won nothing but neither did the bloke who dumped our team for the low handicap group!
A big thanks to the organisers

Congratulations to the Harps on an enjoyable steak night.  The food was very good and I have to compliment Say Nothin on his hospitality and attention to detail.  One minor issue was the non attendance of Judas after him giving me grief about buying tickets.

As ever TYP gives good advice.  All the political parties with the exception of Sinn Fein have set up a group of educationists to come up with a way forward for Transfer.  My guess would be that they will recommend the original CCEA style tests for an interim period.  However the parties will have to encourage, cajole, force, etc the Minister to accept this as a compromise.  There is not that much time left for this and parents will want answers from the grammar schools about next year.

"We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love... and then we return home."  Old aboriginal quote.
Welcome back Tony

Do the Mitchells still have the social club in Sparkhill?  I used to use it 30 years ago.
