For all the initial scepticism about the Glazers, nobody can argue that they haven't put their money where their mouths are. They pumped more into wages last season than any other club in England and given the amount they have spent since Fergie left, the protests about a lack of spend were slightly misguided. I think it was more a case of Fergie being prudent with the clubs money than no money being available around the time of the initial protests. No doubt their main objective is to make money out of the club but in fairness they have invested heavily in the last couple of seasons.

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/revealed-manchester-united-wage-bill-is-10-times-more-than-burnley-and-higher-than-manchester-city-and-chelsea-10193532.html

They have not invested one penny and have raped the club to the tune of heading for 1 Billion Euro at this stage. Fact! as a famous man once said.

15 mins that took, his radar mustn't be working  ;D

A lot of people think it would be Fc's nirvana to play Man Utd but the reality on the ground (well judging by the forums etc) seems to be different). They really are a great example of what can be done in any sport/community

Slow day....

Saw this on Question of Sport the other week and thought I'd ask it here. Other than the five teams who have won the premier league what remaining ten teams would make up the top 15 in the all Premier League points table?
Easily googled I'm sure but where would the fun in that be  :)

Looks like Henderson has signed for you lads, smart move,i'd be more interested in keeping him than Sterling if i supported L'pool, for all the abuse he's gotten he's improved as much as anybody i can think of in the last 2 seasons(better than your superstar Captain last year imo) and seems to have an excellent attitude towards the game.
Im starting to think you do...

Because i try look at football objectively and i'm not completely biased towards my own team(Utd) like most fans seem to be?

What the f**k was Van Gaal at with his BBC Interview??

Came across as a complete pr1ck.

Have to say I laughed when I saw it :-)

If an opposition manager does it they're a bollix when your own manager does it  they're a genius. Have to say I much prefer it to Moyes meek performances last year.

Some of the other nations clubs looking in at the Premiership must be thinking what have we done wrong that this league still gets 4 Champions league spots, the French league will surely feel they're just as deserving as the Premiership on current form?

A bit early to be on the whiskey

Its hard to beat a good binge on a boxset

"Will I go to bed now or watch another quick episode" repeat this process hourly ;D

I'm in the bad books though as we started watching it together but I'm a full season ahead now  :)

What app do you use to watch the stuff on the ipad?

Sky Go app as I have they have the boxset on that.

Doesn't work in my house either, I refuse to watch something at the rate herself does. Women have no stamina :-)

Anyone know what time the FA Cup Final is likely to be on?
Got a feckin wedding invitation this morning for the day of the Cup Final  ::) >:(
How inconsiderate of the cnuts to get married that day.
I know they have had it at 5.30 a few times which would be a balls.

Of course it may not bother me at all depending on Sunday's result  :-[

Won't have been decided yet but nailed on to be teatime I'd have thought especially if Liverpool vs Arsenal. The police will have final say, had it been something like Liverpool vs United they'd have been keen on a 3PM start

That's disappointing. Hope he moves Herrera into Carrick's slot and starts Di Maria rather than moving Rooney out and starting Falcao or RVP.

Van Gaal doesn't trust Herrera in that position which is why he's left him out so much this season, he doesn't think he disciplined enough defensively.

Finished GOT season 3 last night....wow. Intention to watch 1 and ended up watching 3.

The Red Wedding.....didn't see that coming.

I remember at the time of the wedding there was a whole hoo haa about the show and some massacre so when I did watch it I had sort of spoiled that bit for myself.  Season 4 is amazing too, straight from the first few episodes.

I had watched Gotham but stopped the past few weeks as can't see where it is going.

I probably benefitted from only watching that now then, had no idea at all of what was coming.

I reckon I'll have season 4 done over the weekend! Late nights ahead or sneaking off during the day with the ipad to watch a bit.
