Dont think the Omagh boys wana go back go Ardboe full stop, thats the real problem here..

That may be true about Omagh but greater problem is how Tyrone GAA break rules and walk all over the clubs. Needs to be stopped for once and for all

Can a single officer not put a stop to this? Get someone in who will front up on behalf of the clubs. There are 12 people on the CCC, is it the chair, secretary or adult fixtures co-ordinator who is breaking the rules here? Either way players need to get militant with the CB. Now there is no way clubs or supporters are going to boycott Championship, having waited all year you just want to get down to business, but players should align themselves to call a halt to unreasonable fixtures during holidays and short notice fixture setting. It is also in rule that 5 days notice must be given ahead of any game, is that being followed?

The players have the power here, they just don't know it. The playersdon't want committee type hassle when focusing on their preparation for games as you only get a short enough time to play, but they could pull together now and get this sorted.

Not necessarily true, GAA guidelines state 5 days for championship games, nothing about league games, it seems its left to County boards bye-laws for each individual county. Dublin, for example, states 5 days notice for a league game in their bye laws. Tyrone?? States that there must be a 'reasonable' notice given? I mean, what is or isn't reasonable?

Staying in Ireland now I hear. Could be an interesting Easter coming up, CPA have the perfect opportunity here to lay down a marker but as far as I'm aware not much movement from them.

No penalties/sanctions listed in the rule book, just that its not permitted. Another rule/guideline that is questionably enforced...

(d)
Players who are not included in an inter-County senior Panel of twenty-six players, shall be available to their Clubs on the weekends of national league and senior Championship games."
Penalty in respect of breach of (d): A County shall forfeit Home venue for its next 'Home game' in the respective national league.(note: section (d) will be effective from January 1st
2017.)

Rule 6.22 (b)
Senior Inter-County Panels shall not be permitted to go on Training Weekends, or training of longer duration, after the Final of their respective National League having been played, except during the 13 days period prior to a Senior Championship Game, or during the 20 days prior to an All-Ireland Senior Final.

Anyone else notice this from GAA rulebook regarding next Thursdays fixture change? Could open up a can of worms.

Easter Tuesday matches now moved to Thursday 20th April, CCC doing themselves no favours here. Amateur hour!

Awful decision from CCC...why not play the matches on the Tuesday after the scheduled Sunday? Playing Easter Saturday and Easter Tuesday is crazy. I'd guess a lot of players have booked breaks on one of those 2 days.

Dear God, we have produced some vile, hate filled people in this country but Jim Allister must be up there with the worst of them. Disgusting comments today in Stormont, epitome of the word bigot!

As we near the end of the league, what's the general view on this?
For me, it's had somewhere between a neutral and a positive impact, which is pretty good going for a rule change in gaelic football.

Agree with that, hasn't had a big impact to be honest but what impact it has made, it certainly hasn't been negative at all.

What are people's thoughts on bars in club GAA grounds? A good thing that can attract money/new members and social meeting point? Or a distraction, negative for health etc. and a possible financial drain on a club?

If the DUP get the same vote then N.I deserves to be the biggest laughing stock of Europe.... Who da feck votes for Arlene based on what her track record has been lately???????

Exactly right, this has the potential to be the most depressing election ever. We are well and truly fucked if the DUP remain the same/improve their vote. Will show without question the type of Neanderthals we are dealing with. Do these people have no standards, respect for themselves?
Please let us have a result that goes beyond green/orange, it's 2017 ffs!

Minors do start next Saturday. Minor fixtures are out since beginning of the week. Your club secretary will have them.

County minors are allowed to train/play with their club minors but can't play with club senior team until Tyrone minors are put out of the championship.
