you wonder what might have been, Edwards in particular. People who saw him during his brief career mention him in the same breath as Pele.

A draw was all they deserved, even though it was a woeful, but not unexpected, error from Toure.
lucky to even get a draw. midfield just non existent from a creativity perspective with the exception of sterling.

big opportunity missed this weekend with the results yesterday and someone dropping points tomorrow.

One of the few Kerry men who would make the team of the decade in the noughties. I heard he didn't like the new Kerry kit. Seriously though class player and I enjoyed his lack of fear and commitment.

few kerry men?? wtf ? The o se family on its own would probably have a bigger representation than any other county!

Galvin was one of the best at what he did. Like his nemesis Ricey he will never win any popularity contests but every other county in Ireland would have wanted him in their team.

Just saw the latest weather reports for the Superbowl, potentially -10 degrees at Metlife and a foot of snow!! ???

Hope it does nt  affect the game too badly but you have to imagine it will restrict Peyton's passing game to some extent.

I think the wind or rain is much more of a problem for passing the ball than the cold. It should be a very tight contest of contrasting styles. I can't wait.

obviously a wet ball is a different issue but those type of temperatures make the ball harder so it's more likely to fly on the qb, so expect more overthrows than normal. Also harder to catch a cold, hard ball.

Great performance by Liverpool. Couthino and Sterling were excellent, really closed Everton down and made it difficult for them. Couthino was back to his best passing wise as well, the first Sturridge goal was inch perfect through ball.

Interesting to see Sturridge's reaction in the interview, apologising for his reaction to being subsituted. Shows BR is running a tight ship!

Needed that win, with United winning tonight and likely to string a run together at some point. And as much as I want to see Everton plummet down the table, hope Lukaku is not too badly injured. Great player and if he was still at Stamford Bridge I think it would be a very different picture at the top of the League.

Great Draw for Everton!

What odds a Sunderland cup double and relegated??

Diana Ross was Uniteds 6th penalty taker
I thought it was her who missed the last one!
As a parttime keeper in my youth I can never understand why people don't go for power. it's only 12 yards ffs! If you blast it and get it on target chances are the keeper ain't going to save it!

RIP Trigger.

@BBCBreaking: British actor Roger Lloyd-Pack, best known as Trigger in Only Fools and Horses, has died age 69,  agent says http://t.co/Vzn2DgpUQk

A legend. OF&H is still one of the best shows on tv, even though I know every word. When people talk about how brilliantly written and acted it is the focus is obviously on DEl and Rodney but the likes of Trigger, Boicey and Mike were fantastic in their own right.

One of the funniest lines ever was Trigger defending how he hit is head on a "Mind Your Head" sign. His response "of course I saw it, but in those days I could nt read!"

RIP

Serious score racked up by Tyrone, even in the McKenna Cup. I find it strange that an Intercounty team can concede that level of scores, in a "competitive" game. No matter what you think of the competition surely pride would mean you put up a bit more of a fight?

You need to consider your tax position as well. You don't get taxed on anything you pay into a pension (Below a pretty generous limit) but any money you put in a saving account you will have paid tax on already and will get taxed on the interest, unless its in an ISA.

Important win for Liverpool today.given the rest of the results this weekend. Unconvincing to a large extent but ultimately the quality of SaS was enough. You can see why managers get frustrated as a) that penalty was soft and b ) Shows the inconsistency of referees as the eto challenge on suarez was a similar tackle but much more of pen!

Coutihno, who I think is cracking player,  needs to improve his finishing. If he could put away some of the chances he gets with a bit more regularity he would be unstoppable.

Errigal won the Championship last season yet at present we only have 2 on the Tyrone panel. It is the least amount of representation I can remember in a long time. Just because you have a great team does not mean you have lots of great players. I would suggest the best performer Clonoe have is Damian Cassidy. He is able to get the maximum out of these group of lads collectively.

Only 2???
McRory McGinley and Harte to come back.. Hmmmmm.... 2 too many to be honest...

Mcginley and Harte well worth there place on the panel. I'm not convinced with mcrory but corner back options are limited.
[/b]

Top quality corner backs are a dying breed across the country. A combination of sweepers, blanket defences and too much protection being given to forwards mean that the sight of a corner back and corner forward sprinting 20 yards to compete for a ball is becoming rarer.

Tough for Theo. looked bad at the time but I didn't think it would be so serious. Arsene might have to get the cheque book out in Jan now. Looking a bit light up front with bendtner it and podolski only back. Maybe £40m +£2??  ;)

Well learned two things from the second round of games yesterday. Andy Dalton is not and will never be an elite quarterback and Kaepernick can still run it when he needs to.

Felt sorry for dalton, he just had a shocker but he will have serious questions asked over his position now.

In the second game when Rodgers did his Houdini act on 4 &2 late in the fourth to put the pack in position for the lead changing touchdown I thought that was it. Hyde will have nightmares about the dropped interception and Kaep had two huge conversions on the game winning drive, one to Crabtree where he stepped up and one where he kept it and legged it.

With a defence like that the niners will have a chance against anyone. Roll on next week!
