2-2 all at half time. The ground (I nearly called it a stadium) is still half empty. I though it would fill up when they made their way from the pub after watching the Protestant bigots beat the Catholic bigots in the Scottish match.

Thats quite a sweeping statement, everyone that supports Rangers/Celtis are bigots then? You tool

It would have ben interesting if the Glens had been going up against lingfield, I would have thought the odd aul bottle would have been lobbed and a few rows would have broken out but since it is two useless teams going at it in a mickey mouse league then I would have to say it is absolutely must not see tv.

And a bit of stabbing just for good measure......As per Oval riot a couple of years back

An American Sports commentator when a black athlete was in the process of running the kickoff back for a touchdown...."look at that little monkey run" Priceless.....

Interesting letter in this months "Four Four Two" magazine........

"Its funny how quickly Manchester United fans forget. A couple of years ago Reds were worrying about a debt-ridden Americanised Theatre of Dreams. But this season the self-righteous indignation of the anti-Glazer campaign has dripped away to be replaced with the familiar smug satisfaction of the United "faithful", who seem to have conveniently forgotten that they dont like their owner now that the club is back to trophy chasing ways.

While i expected years of fun as the gnomic Yank asset stripped the club to oblivion, in actual fact i had been deceived like a Roma defender. Glazer has been perfect for United, supplying Fergie with the cash to do as he pleases (even £18.6 million for Carrick), financing the expansion of Old Trafford, helping explore the American market and keeping a low and dignified profile in the face of baseless protest.

The truth is foreign owners have been, almost without exception, good for British clubs. Look at Abramovich replacing Bates,Lerner buying out Ellis, even Mandaric replacing Venables. What we see is not just an injection of cash but the rejection of old-school owners in it purely for the ego and the argument. Lets thank these men for improving our clubs, not offer ill-informed opinions on them based on little more than xenophobia."

if you dont think its as big of challenge explain why liverpool have never won the premiership

Because other teams finished above us and we always had a tosser for a manager, dont have that problem anymore. The point i was making that you are obviously too f**king stupid to pick up on is the difference in quality of opposition in latter stages of CL compared to Premiership, what is Uniteds away record in CL last few years, 2 wins or something??

He will win you all the Premierships you want but when the bar is raised he has been found wanting on so many occasions.

The irony is Syd you blithering idiot, that it is universally recognised that the premiership is infinately more difficult to win than the 3/4 place teams league (AKA Champions league)

Thats why Liverpool have a big fat zero.

Mmm, first point "infinately" is spelt infinitley, petty i know but sure what the hell. So you see it as a bigger challenge playing Watford, Middlesbrough, Bolton, Reading, Charlton etc etc twice a season than playing the best teams from Germany, Italy and Spain? Strange logic indeed, would i be right in saying if you had beaten Milan last night you would have sat last night pulling your wire at the thought of another Champions League trophy or would it still have the same lustre as the Carling Cup?

Slur Alex has had his day. He seems to be a greedy **** though and will keep at it until he gets the boot. He will win you all the Premierships you want but when the bar is raised he has been found wanting on so many occasions (7 CL Semis i think).
