GAA Discussion / Re: rte balance?

Dear god! It's headline on BBC is that not enough? The glamour tie for RTE is Dublin Meath not Tyrone Armagh. Would ye ever catch a grip of yourselves this paranoia is not helping normal gaels endear themselves to Armagh and Tyrone!

General discussion / Re: The Killers

I was a fan of the Killer but their last album was just ok and I've heard their new song over the last few weeks and I think it's very poor. They should put on a good show though I would imagine!

Boylan cited Clarke's omission as an issue of commitment. Clarke was still involved with his club and wasn't able to make as many of the training weekends as the rest apparently. Can't see how this is true as I'm guessing a fair heap of Kerry and Tyrone players missed a lot of training as well. I also think it's ludicrous to go there without arguably the best all round full forward in the game!

General discussion / Re: The PEC

Yeah it used to be well worth it a few years ago it was like £1.20 a time with a student card but then LA Fitness and JJB and the rest are charging £30 and more/month for their gyms so why should the PEC lose out!

I think the facilities are just OK and you will get better for less in one of the aforementioned establishments as well as better service so I personally would go somewhere else!

Just noticed you are playing on the same bill as the Tennessee Hennessey's there Gs man. By some fluke I saw them on Friday evening in Cookstown and for a man that isn't much fond of bluegrass I thought they were excellent!

Beoga were undoubtedly the stars though I was very impressed with them. Eamon Murray must have some kind of robotic arm to play the Bodhrán as fast as he does!

I am a dumbass! It is indeed the 15th Gs Man thanks for pointing that out! Somebody told me at the weekend it was on tonight and I believed them without checking it and even when I posted that this morning I didn't look at the date.

So for anyone who was planning on coming wait until next Wednesday thanks!

Now that you mention it I completely forgot to listen to the new album. Just got it downloaded there so I'll have a listen over the next few days. Such a chore to get it downloaded for free. I had to check at least 20 sites before I could find a link that wasn't removed due to Copyright!

does seem like a weak aussie team this year,  would have thought malthouse would have had a few more of his clubmen on it like ,  medhurst or cloke. maybe he doesnt want them getting injured!! i think dale thomas will excel at this game.

tommy freeman represented monaghan in a few international rules games.

He may well have but I was going from this...

I see Bealo has put his name in for the Dublin job! I don't think he has ever actually won anything at Club or County level so I think putting him into the Dublin job now would be akin to throwing him to the wolves! He wouldn't survive it.

Can't believe there is not a higher calibre of man putting his name forward for this post!

rarely have i read such a pile of garbage. exceptional talents exist in all walks of life and he's one of them. would play senior championship for tyrone next year if he was available. absolutely no doubt.

No chance! Mickey Harte would never throw him into Championship football at such an early age and with the team he has there is absolutely no need to. I honestly think COney would not be consitently in the team for another 2 years!

Tohill and Sean Marty Lockhart were very good in their time!
