He's been hung out to dry over the Gough incident.

I'd imagine it's a sin bin and he'll be back for the new season. No big deal really.

He must have been on the appointment panel as per rumour.

The appointments panel hardly mattered though when there was only one candidate there for the job??

One candidate in the end....but sure was there not 4 or 5 names in for it from day one? It's just they obviously didn't stand a chance when allegedly one of the men wanted it was sounded out about coming into a Gallagher management team.

Yeah but I don't think the appointment panel actually go to meet any of the other candidates they all pulled out before the interview stage.

Now we have A great Q/final line up drawn up.
Ballinderry looked impressive against slaughtneil who didn't.
Glen dug deep against loup and now play last year's finalists lavey
Magherafelt had a massive victory and now play Screen who struggled against kilrea
And  Banagher, who possibly were the team of the 1st round against ourselves.

It was tight for about 25 mins then we won by 11 points... not sure that classes as a struggle.

It will be a very different game and will be very tough against Magherafelt as it has been anytime we've played them the last few years in the Championship hopefully we can get the same results.

Glen looked very impressive with how they controlled the game against Loup. Surprisingly they struggled with 15 on the pitch playing man for man but when they were forced into a more defensive system the speed with which they were able to break gave them the upper hand. How Loup weren't able to stop the short kickout with an extra man was baffling!

Quarter Finals should all be decent games.

The NI-only backstop appears to be back in play. Both Faisal Islam and Jamie Bryson have commented this evening.

Highly respected commentator so it must be true!

"Loyalist Blogger" I think is the correct term!!

The beauty of the straight knockout championship 2 big hitters gone first day!!

As a player I never liked it I always thought it wasn’t fair training like madman for 6-7 months to only have the possibility of one big game at the end of the year and then you’re gone. All that sacrifice for very little at times.

As a supporter there’s no better format!!!

The Joker out next month has some decent trailers  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zAGVQLHvwOY  critics saying it's an oscar worthy masterpiece. Will it live up to the hype I'd wonder?

Got an eight minute standing ovation at the Venice film festival.

Great trailer and I think Phoenix is one of those actors who has the madness to play the role properly I'm looking forward to it!

Nothing sorted yet but it seems like the Torres/Cummings gambled on the opposition parties not being able to come together while they secretly got their ducks in a row and to all intents and purposes have been one step ahead of Boris at every turn.

They need to get this put into law and an extension agreed then Boris is definitely gone!!

Great to see f**k the Tories!!

Looks like the SNP are going fcuk it up and vote for an election on 15th. Can't understand their thinking why not wait.

Word is they've maybe changed their tune on that one as well and that No Deal has to be completely off the table before they vote for an election And that “may well” mean Parliament is suspended next week without an election being called.
