Amazing place Iceland, defo hire a car it's wild expensive to take all the excursions to the sights otherwise... And obviously being in a car you can stop anywhere you fancy at various nooks and crannies and there's loads. Most of the touristy sights are the Golden circle which will take ya the most of a day to get around...

Another day we drove half way across Southern Iceland to see a glacier and some absolutely stunning scenery. On the final day we had a couple of hours to spare on route to airport and explored the peninsula close to the airport, I think it was some of the most barren but incredibly beautiful places I've been and feck all word of it in any of the guides.

Aye it's dear but fcuk it you are on holiday!!!

Have a trip booked for January and a Golden Circle tour included.

We've got a secret lagoon included but is it really worth going to the blue lagoon?? It's ridiculously expensive, I don't mind paying for something when on holiday but not sure it's value for money given the reviews I've read.

Loudest Voice is very good... probably over dramatised but seriously interesting and the acting is great. Crowe's exceptional but then he could always play the alpha males nearly better than anyone!

Good episode of Peaky Blinders last night I thought. . . not sure what you lads are on about Cillian Murphy was excellent and the lad who plays Arthur over acts something shocking. Young Gleeson's Scottish accent is horrific the only one who could do it worse would be Gillen!!!

Anyone watched Temple yet? Heard good reviews and quite enjoyed the first episode.

Ballers is getting annoying now.

Has anyone watched State of the Union?? It looks to be getting good reviews think it's next up on the list. . . also Brassic??

GAA Discussion / Re: Dublin v Kerry All Ireland Final 2019
« on: September 16, 2019, 09:27:18 AM »
Kerry badly caught out by a set play from Dublin. . . they played it perfectly and got the little bit of luck for Murchan to pick up the ball the way he did. O'Brien was taken out of it by Fenton as he was trying to chase as well. It was very well executed but should have been blown for overcarrying from Murchan.

Yes he was being fouled but as far as I'm aware if he overcarries they have to come back for the original foul and Lane didn't have his hand up anyway.

It was end to end stuff between 2 very good teams thank god the game has evolved you could watch the Dubs and Kerry play all day long.
