Having a wee flutter on Mickleson e/w, he has a lot on his mind but he has the game for this course too.
can any one post up the players this week and their odds

Just can't help myself. £5 EW on Pudding Clarke at 225-1.
To be fair he strung together 4 decent rounds at the weekend.

any one hear the matt cooper show yesterday , some fella gave a tip for the uspga but i can't remember his name
Didnt hear Deel but lad on Newstalk who tipped Glover at 175s earlier in year went for
Allenby and Villegas
My advise would be stay away from Paddypower for golf. Woeful poor odds.

was thinking of villegas myself 66/1 , 45/1 without the tiger what are you going for yourself rossie
i think westwood could do it this week too, is well worth an ew bet at 22/1 as he has been knocking on the door for weeks at this stage...
Paddypower has good odds on Westwood without Tiger
Lads is this on Sky Sports?
Yup just checked coverage starts at 7pm on SS1
Thanks DtM.
just done a punt on westwood there 22/1 e/w top 6 places
Yeah noticed Paddypower are giving e/w for top six places.
Betting without Tiger, I will be having a flutter on these guys-
Steve Stricker
Hunter Mahan
Camilo Villegas
£5 e/w on Tim Clark
Most bookies giving top 6 places.
Backing harrington
And a few big outsiders:
Steve Flesch 225/1
Jerry Kelly 130/1
Snedeker 150/1
Rose to be top European 25s
Have followed Bettingzone to see can I get a bit of a sweat.............
Rory & Snedeker w/out Tiger
McIlroy and Harrington -2. 1 shot off the lead
Allenby and Villegas leading
Have a small bit on Tiger and each way on Rose and Soren Kjeldsen. Its a lottery.
Garcia and Casey are my bets, anyone any updated scores?

Injured.
Sergio -1 after 12
Leader Board
Bradley -4
Woods -3
Allenby -3
Quiros -3
Hansen -3

Brilliant.
Backed allenby for 1st round lead. Could only do it straight so I'm very worried. Got Davis Love for 1st round.
T.Clarke (90) Cabrerra(33) and Sndeker(70) all EW bets without Woods.

Tiger -5 (17)
Hunter -4 (17)
Gatherer -4 (17)
Edit: Hunter now -3 (18)
Clarke +2 after 7. He took a 6 at his forte par 5. Puddin.
Another good link

Tiger -5
Padraig -4.
Continuing from last week. Great stuff
Back to the old routine Tiger finished and 5 under and Harrington at 4 under, this could be a long weekend.
Good man Darren, 6 at the next par 5. +3 now. Brilliantly consistent.

A great "character" though, is he still banging the oul thing he took up with about a week after he buried his wife?
Tabloid trash it was proven to be. Same paper that said the same about McAnallan's girlfriend.
+4 now. I think it's his birthday too.
Looks like Padraig is getting the hang of his new swing, jees frustrating year following him, relieved hes finally coming good after taking the huge risk of tampering with his game.
had to laugh at sandy lyle on sky sports tonight. Monty was playing a chip shot and he says oh that looked like a double hit a bit suspicious too me. This after all shit at the british open.
Good man Padraig.

That was some war of words, not suprised Lyle saying that, he'll be calling him a cheater again...but with Lyle its sour grapes over the Ryder cup Captain snub.
+5 Darren. Going great guns.

here real fame for harrington

Darren finished +6. Good steady round of bogeys spoiled by a par at the 17th. Level with Daly. Should be some head-to-head that. Wouldn't like to be slow with the HP sauce.
can't stand these pricks shouting 'in the hole'

It's sickening when Tiger hits a tee shot on a 500+ yard par 5 and they shout it.

seen that too, the other commentator never said a word, obviously very uncomfortable by Sany's little dig at monty on air
I don't think he done much more commentary for the rest of the evening after that :D
Sandy Lyle is a bitter old man now, I wish he would shut the f**k up and have some dignity. He didn't even have the respect to finish his first round at the Open last year because it was too wet for him and he was running up a cricket score, strange decision by Sky to have him on. They have a poor enough team for golf commentary though, Thomas Bjorn was terrible at the US Open.
The Beeb have all the diamonds as far as I am concerned, Allis, Torrance, Grady and even Ken Brown are better than Sky's line up.

The Beeb have all the diamonds as far as I am concerned, Allis, Torrance, Grady and even Ken Brown are better than Sky's line up.

Agreed. He made some tit of himself last night with his "double hit" comment on Monty's green-side chip last night. I suspect Sky will drop him fairly sharpish.....
Major blooper Sky hiring Lyle, not only is he not a good commentator but he isn't very well liked among the general public.
Allis is very well respected and regarded and I for one love his ramblings about everything non-relevant and a bit of golf too.

Bjorn is only 6 months older than Harrington, started with Harrington on the European Tour in 1996 and beat Harrington to rookie of the year that year. Most people would have said he was more talented that Harrington, they still say the same about Clarke, Monty, McIlroy etc.
I'm sure young Rory knows which one to model himself on.

Bjorn cacked it at the Brit Open a few years ago too I think? had it in his hands so to speak and shit the togs. Think he is high up on the European Tour Committe now.
Bjorn spat his dummy out too when he was left out of the Ryder Cup team by Woosie and he put Darren Clarke in instead at the K Club, lost alot of respect for that
Tim Clark shoots a 68 today to get back to even for the Championship to keep by bet alive ;). Woods and Harrington just about to tee off.
A much improved round for Darren today. Only +4 leaving him sweating at +10, justifying his late invitation. His front nine was a mirror of consistancy today - Bogey, Par, D Bogey, Bogey, Birdie, Par, Birdie, Bogey and Bogey. Sounds like the chorus of a winning Eurovision song.

Dunno about that :D
Anyway for what its worth I can't see anyone only Woods winning this at this stage..
Bet made. If I lose I'll be taking my frustration out on you! :D
harry is steadily clawing his way back in to it .... after the three bogeys.. if he can get out in the last group it will mean a lot.. he has the eye in

I'd say harry is claiming he's a cork man at this stage - his old man played for them I think.
This looks over, but tiger's not the player he was and if his dodgy driving comes back to haunt him tomorrow, he might give somebody a chance, the problem is they often seem incapable of raising their game when he's on the course.

this year his driving has been all over the place, a good drive is an accurate drive, especially on a major course - you'll get away with bad drives on the run of the mill course set ups, but rough is normally more severe on majors thus you get found out - that's why he hasn't won a major this year and until now, he's not really threatened to either.
He's obviously the best in the world by a distance, but he's not as unbeatable as he was back in the early part of the decade.
in a way it might suit harry not to be in tigers group today, he's had tiger for the last 3 rounds and that a lot of hassle

Paddy bogeys the last to finish -6. Tiger -8 with two to play.
Padraig cuts Tigers lead in half today and won't be playing in the final group tomorrow. This might take the pressure off him. I know it is Tiger Woods but it is not easy leading a major pretty much from start to finish as Tiger has done in this tournament. Padraig is in the perfect position.
tough to see past tiger now though, very poor bogey at the last for harrington, still he has the chance to put some pressure on woods early on, that might mean woods has to take the driver back out of the bag and then the fun could start.
Yang has also held off a charging tiger in china two years ago, he didn't play with him in the final round though.
think harry would have had a better chance if he was in tigers group, after playing with him for 3 of the last 4 rounds i think he would have been up to it. still he'll get his chances of a 4th major tomorrow, i expect to be a nervous wreck!!!!
I think that last bogey for PH is crucial.
He has to pull back two shots on Tiger last yesterday again - Tiger will be more ruthless this time and will look to go out and destroy the field early on. Yang will falter. Harry would be in a stronger position if alongside him. It will take a superhuman effort
i think playing in front of tiger is known to be the worst place as all the tiger fans come running ahead to get a spot to see tiger
It did Harrington no harm those Tiger spotters running ahead in R3, Hope he does it and wish him well. Did well yday after a shaky start so only 2 back he is in contention.

The pressure obviously got to him. His first tee shot just got caught up in the wind but he should have been able to shake that off and prehaps limit the damage to a double bogey. Instead you could see that his mind instantly went and it was just one bad shot after another. Shame for him.

Call this era the last 25 years or so. Go check the record books from 1875 or whenever the British open started up to the time Seve won his first British open less than 30 years ago. I think it is all yanks and commonwealth nations or 99% that way. The stats for the last 10 years would be a hell of a lot different.
I believe Woods was expecting Yang to collapse under pressure on the way in...what else could explain his never before seen conservative type play
even more so after Harry had his nightmare 8. Did he honestly think even par on the back nine would see him win it, it's not that I'm not a huge fan
but I couldn't understand the lack of his Sunday evening killer instinct...simply an under estimation of Yang's composure on his part imo :-\
