what'd he say about enda mcnulty? Paul Grimley, David Gough and Cavanagh way out of line with. I haven't really listened much to him since. Doesn't seem to understand that RTE were absolutely bang on to get rid of him.

Offaly are the only team out(I think all permutations still leave them bottom) as everyone else has a chance for 3rd at worst and the two top two clashes there are a battle to avoid preliminary quarter finals.

Quote from: maddog on Today at 07:50:23 AMNever understood why folk look for some sort of celebrity type figure to run a country. As far as i'm concerned you want someone that is competent and just gets on with the job. The less controversial the better. In short do the job you were elected to do. Hated Major at the time but when i look back he was in different league to what came after him in his own party.

He's not coming out of those blood scandal enquiries too well either.

England a complete basket case but then are we any different here.

Vincent Kompany looks like he's going from getting Burnley relegated to managing Bayern Munich?

I would say his hand was forced. Those ***** were hanging on robbing the place blind as much as they could and would do it for as long as they could. Something must have turned him.

Yeah he's an out of his depth rich kid.

You would hope so. One of the biggest own goals in the history of own goals.

Well done Longford. Delighted to see that.

Davy and Lohan have a very unhealthy relationship. I expect it's the same for a good few of them. I don't know the full ins and outs but a lot of stuff there with his da etc.

3 or 4 games there was nothing of. I watched back this morning for the antrim game but there was nothing of it either.

I've a roku stick JC(above board) and it's a great job - you should look into it. No casting or any of that. I can watch any of that hurling pretty much seamlessly.

Quote from: imtommygunn on May 20, 2024, 08:43:03 AMThis year at the bottom was as bad as you will see. Sheffield United were awful and Burnley weren't very good either. Luton tbf to them put up a good fight.

Still been a few years since 40 was the minimum.

Been half a dozen years or so I'd say. Pretty much since City started being so dominant.

Antrim / Re: Antrim Football Thread

Sligo look very good. I think they'll maybe be a bit ahead of us but hopefully if we start getting a few players back we can make a game of it.

Sligo, Down and Kildare seem teams to beat. Fermanagh doing well too but I think if we played them we'd have a very good chance. I'd be happier seeing the likes of Johnston and Loughran back too. I suspect Healy is gone for the season. I dunno if McEnhill isn't fit or has just been dropped. McCann (Aghagallon) missed a lot of football so every game getting him sharper too.

Tipp were in it at half time and just after it for a bit too is the mad thing. They seemed to capitulate. Your man Kingston (not to take away from him) scored 4 points in a row from more or less the same place on the pitch. Would you not think they'd maybe get wise to that either management or players??

Can't see Waterford taking anything from Limerick as Limerick will be out to get to the final. What I do expect is Davy to be wired to the moon for it.
