Yesterday’s news now anyway.

Still don’t think we’ll make top four but great to be in with a shout. Hearing speculation Rodriguez looking out which wouldn’t help. Still richarlison going well and while I would be critical of gylfi’s work rate at times another assist for him and without Rodriguez arguably our most creative.

Yeah sadly those would be my thoughts too in terms of the “fenians”. I just don’t see who else they would attack.

If anything happens the dup may as well have done it themselves.

Course there's nothing to it about releases.

The GFA was ratified - early releases and all - whether some loyalist group or other withdraws their support for it or not.

Interesting to hea Wee Jeffrey talking about how Unionist support for the GFA is diminishing rapidly. Does he somehow think people forget that the DUP itself opposed the GFA? Or forget that he himself lef the UUP over it's support for the GFA?

Unionism is really ramping up the rhetoric. I honestly would not be surprised to see some for of loyalist violence being unleashed before long.

Sadly I think it is coming. It’s just a question of who their target is.

I was reading about that and apparently that is not true re early release. (According to twitter source Allison Morris who would usually be fairly accurate to be fair to her)

Donegal didn’t know what to do though. They were, at that time , a much better team. Yes there was a lucky goal but Kerry shouldn’t even have been close enough that it mattered.

The stuff on the last couple of pages of this thread is poisonous shite that no one wants to read.

Petty, repugnant flame wars waged by self obsessed, attention craving c***ts not only bore the shite out of the rest of us, but destroy the opportunity for others to develop a real discussion.

And this crap isn't just contained here, it's flung all over the board to the extent that practically every popular thread reeks of it.

If our new mod is going to let things like this fly then the board is as good as done. Moderating an internet forum is about cultivating an environment that encourages contributors to produce the content for which we're all here. The environment about this place at the minute is toxic and inhospitable.

100% agree.

That makes me laugh/ a little sad reading about bad Dublin sides. Some of us can only dream of being as good as a “bad” Dublin side. (P.s. not in any way a dig at Dublin - same with other big hitting teams too for people from “lesser” counties.

Being from Antrim I have never been to a game I know my team will win!

Gallagher hasn’t got much more than his Uber defensive strategy going for him. People might think that of mcguinness but they’d be wrong.

(That being said I still think their failure against Kerry in 2014? was mainly tactical)

The “loyalist communities council” , aka some form of loyalist paramilitaries, have written to Bojo withdrawing their support for the Belfast agreement. Great - what could go wrong now...

I wonder can they now lock the half of them up expand who were released?

When you have to watch your back because the cops are looking to rob you at every opportunity it isn’t a good sign.  I just felt sorry for the poor Japanese tourists who they were robbing blind.

I went over to Moscow for an Ireland match a few years ago and the local police were robbing Irish fans everywhere. They were asking fans for their passports/I'd and then demanding money from them before they'd hand it back.

It's a crazy country and I won't be going back.

There are parts of the country are fantastic but the hostility and the looking over your shoulder all the time for me also mean that.

You will never see more beautiful women than you do in red square though. Even the £7 pint in 2010 was worth it.

Yeah I don’t know why anyone would expect him to get a loi job. He should go back to doing what he knows and manage a Gaa team.
