Omagh win the first battle with Clonoe-the troops are being rallied.

Darn that. Maybe we should do without even turning up tomorrow.

Was told by an Omagh man few days ago that Omagh would do very well in ulster and all Ireland series if they could get out of Tyrone.

Now they're wearing white it seems it's all over. Cross must be trembling

One wit has suggested that although they have the white jerseys they also include the virtual yellow streak up the back

Rocky mcguigan hasn't gone away ::) Cheers F.a.b. can always rely on you for your fb comments ;) Most frequent browser around championship time. Plenty of sarsfields in the main stand today. First time seen them support a team in black & white  ;D ;

Great game in Dunmoyle today, either team will be hard to stop.  Skeets McAlliskey was on fire, certain to have a big Tyrone future.  Dont think Omagh have missed the boat though, fancy them in the replay.

Very disappointed in Clarke though, really poor and deserved to be called ashore before half time.  But there was no excuse for the mouthful he gave the Omagh management and then he hit one of them a shoulder on the way off, he may be young but his attitude and actions were a disgrace and doesn't augur well for his Tyrone future.  And then for the management to bring him back on again really showed a lack of discipline within the club.

Any reports on the Dromore Eglish game, didn't make it as the better half pulled the plug on my plans.  Sounds like Dromore struggled a bit?

From Teamtalk

It seems the dates and venues for the Power NI championship quarter finals and Senior replay have been agreed and have been arranged as follows.
First up next Sunday will be the replay between Omagh and Clonoe which is down for decision at Dunmoyle with a 5:30pm throw in time. There is provision for extra time should the game finish level again.
The quarter final schedule is Killyclogher v Derrylaughan 31st of August in Omagh, Carrickmore v Coalisland 7th September Omagh, Ardboe v Dromore in Dungannon Sunday September 2nd. The venue for the Omagh/Clonoe v Errigal game will depend on the outcome of next weekend's replay.
Moy v Rock will precede Ardboe v Dromore, Loughmacrory v Cookstown will precede Carrickmore v Coalisland, Eskra v Urney will precede Killyclogher v Derrylaughan.

Handy enough win for Errigal last night. Pulled away well in the second half. Anybody know what happened the moortown lad who was injured at half time?

What is it with subs getting injured at half time this past few weeks. The strabane lad at Fintona last week, the Moortown man and one of Omaghs subs had to be carried off yesterday!!

My post was a bit misleading. He was playing and was injured just before half time and lay on the pitch for 15 minutes getting treatment before getting carried off.

Forgot about O'Neill being missing. Grugan was v.impressive as was Barry tierney, Clarke terrible.

Barry Tierney excellent also. Seems like a boy who just loves playing football and running.

Clarke was terrible- skinned alive when in full back and terrible on the ball when out the field. As soon as he got booked they took him off for Justin. Justin was booked shortly after coming on but was left on lol.

Everyone is entitled to have a poor game, but the most concerning thing was his attitude to the management team as he walked off. You wouldnt want to see a talented young player behaving like that.

That attitude got him back onto the field in the second half so it worked out well for him.

True. Shouted at management and shouldered one of them got him back on the field. Terrible from Omagh management.

SKINNED ALIVE THE BOY WAS! I WAS THERE I SEEN THE ROASTING!

Someone throw this over Conor Clarke the next time you see him

I presume Clonoes turn for the jersey.  Will Omagh be able to cope with not getting to wear their own white jerseys this weekend or will they be happy enough.

Heard that Ardboe refused to play extra time tonight in the Minor Quarter finals at Cookstown.
any truth in this?
