There's too big a gap between top and bottom of Tc. Realistically maybe three teams can win it. Also anyone getting promoted could come straight back down - look where Meath are now. The gap between top and bottom in both competitions is, imo, too big. Three competitions meaning less in each would be better. It would also help with the group matches in Sam maguire as you could maybe have 12 teams instead of 16 or something like that.

Tipp beat Wexford who I would say are probably better than limerick. That game is I would say 50 50.

I only watched the game back and realised johnston came on. I think he will be a big addition. Hand is improving in that area too. I think if he ups his game discipline wise he's a good player for us. We could have beat Sligo there. Probably should have scored that last chance. The performance was very good tbh. Hopefully if we keep that up we have a scalp or two in us.

In the Gaa social podcast last week about east Belfast Gaa round the time of the pipe bomb the chairman was getting emails from a woman who told him her children had been on the end of sectarian abuse (he wasn't clear but sounded like she meant at the hands of east Belfast Gaa players). When the pipe bomb thing happened he mentioned it to police who found out who she was and paid her a visit - she didn't even have children.

The amount of publicity got for mnd through him and his friend Kevin sinfield was superb - two people definitely to be admired. His fight was very public- that disease is becoming more common and seems to be hitting a lot more former sports stars. I read not that long ago Marcus Stewart formerly of Ipswich is suffering from it too and then there was weir, fernando Ricksen, van der wrsitheusen (spelling) and our own anto finnegan. Horrible.

Would there not be some game time in Johnston if he's been on the bench last few games? Loughran came on against tipp but seems away again.

He's doing a great job tbf to him. He's brought a professionalism and a discipline to the setup that we haven't seen before.

In saying that one step at a time... we have London to beat.

Meath Monaghan all to play for.

Fermanagh Laois and Carlow Wicklow look like good tight games.

I don't know what happened wicklow against westmeath (or vice versa) but I saw them in the league and they were awful. I think they get disproportionate publicity because of McConville (who I quite like but it just doesn't add up how much press they get for what they are at).

Fermanagh as fourth is probably about right IMO. I don't think there'd be much between them and antrim. It's hard to know where Laois are at. They looked good in the league but haven't looked so good since. Really for me Down and Kildare are probably a bit ahead. Sligo still a bit of an unknown.

This game is becoming more of a toss up the closer it gets.
Armagh without O'Neill and Murnin will struggle.
Derry without their half back line will struggle as its the basis for a lot of our attacks.

Yeh I did think that Galway would maybe beat Derry but this game is up in the air. Which derry will you get and which armagh will you get. Hard to know.

Is his injury from that stamp? He's injury prone anyway but to be injured from that act must be infuriating.
