that's probably Miami out of the CFP

Not a chance. With Miami playing Clemson in the ACC title game the winner is definitely in the CFP. The outside chance of a one loss Miami making it without their conference title is over, though.

Can't believe I have to root for Alabama over Auburn if the Buckeyes have any hope of making the playoffs.

Don't watch much a college football but the final few mins of the UCF - South Florida game is crazy.

The aforementioned one-handed Shaquem Griffin recovers a fumble to close it out as South Florida were marching back up the field.

Florida have three good second tier Uís now with USF, UCF and Lane Kiffin on the cusp of bringing FAU to its best ever season and a Conference USA title to boot. If any of them - particularly the two that played tonight - can eventually find a way into a Power 5 conference they could really make a mark on college football.

Horrific first quarter for the Bucks!  Down 14-0. 3 punts, no first downs.

Finally, an OSU TD, but so far the offense is entirely QB JT Barrett.

At last, a pass! TD!  Game tied 14-14.

HT. Michigan 14  Ohio State 14. 1st qtr all Mich, 2nd qtr all Ohio State

Another dreadful qtr for Ohio State. 20-14 Michigan (extra pt blocked-could be significant)

Things just got worse for OSU--QB Barrett injured

TD Bucks - led by backup redshirt freshman QB Haskins OSU 21-20 End of qtr 3

Urban Meyer is having some trouble himself too. OSU losing here does Wisconsin no favours if they beat them next week.

OSU leading 24-20 in 4th.  Buckeye defensive line will have to step up to win game. Doesn't look like Barrett will return.

Yeah bad miss. Did you notice the clock continue to run after that step out of bounds play? That may be vital. Not now though michigan gave the ball back.
