General discussion / Re: Bledisloe Cup- Tri Nations
July 20, 2007, 04:02:55 PM
Both the Ozzies and the Safas have shown in the Tri Nations that if you play it tight defensively and match  the ABs in the physical steaks they dont know what to do.

I think the miss leadership away from the pack, and a bit of composure in tight situations in the backs, in short, when you take this and what Dinny said in his last post together, they havent recovered from the loss of Tana Umaga, and I think that they will be punished for it in the RWC.

Dinny- personnaly I think the French will wilt under the home crowd pressure. I think they could lose the opener, and we'll have a hell of a game on our hands in Paris

Its been crap alright. Just have a feeling. The Blacks midfield will be well tested... Ive been thinking for a while that the world cup will be nowhere near as straight forward as a lot of people seem to think it will be.

If McAllister and Toeava come through tomorrow better than McAllister and Mauger a couple weeks back then I'll be proven wrong, just think the ozzies are slowly getting it together, peeking just at the right time, and Latham could make hi return at some stage tomorrow, strengthening them even further.

The other big sporting occasion tomorrow...

What you reckon lads, Ive a gut feeling the Ozzies can do it, The Blacks are getting less and less impressive with each passing game.

Dont know about job cuts, but Id be happy to find a few lads who arent taking the hols, my appartment is being snagged and theres very little to do. about a days work for a plasterer, a joiner, and a tiler. Plus a couple days work for painters.

Pain in the arse, so little to be done, and I have to wait an extra fortnight for it to be sorted!

There is so many but the one that is in my head at the minute is the work softball team where Homer makes his famous Wonderbat and is the hero of the team until Burns makes a million dollar bet and hires all the professional basebal players to win.... Quality quote as follows:

"I told you, get rid of those sideburns!"

Magnificent.

The one where Homer and Marge go to marriage guidance classes at Cat Fish Lake and Homer sneaks off to try to catch the legendary local catfish.

Crusty Bate Shop Fella: "One guy nearly caught him once, name of Homer. Had arms like coiled steal, tree trunks for legs, and a shock of hair, red, like the fires of hell."

ORRRR anything with Mr Burns.

Simpsons is probably the best TV show of all time, both interms of sustained excellence and, in terms of how good it was at his peek. From Season 3 right through to 9 or 10 it was totally untouchable.
