a powerful performance from carmen and when questions were asked the players stood up and took the game to omagh with the intensity levels that were required to get the result, everyman played till the finish and in typical carmen spirit,  " what was that francie mooney was writing someting about spirit being gone" he can eat his words now,  omagh displayed some gamesmanship and were lying down at every opportunity young oneill must have been hiding in 2nd half, i think he found out what championship football is all about "balls" and "hunger" if you aint got em uve no errant there.  we will look forward to a county final now and we are back were we belong carmen abu roll on next sunday  :D ;)

how did mcgurk play - always thought he was a very steady club player

Never gave wylie a sniff of it and broke out of defence a few times. We haven't really seen enough of him to see who he is going to dislodge on the panel. Personally, I'd like to see how he'd do on Murphy or McFadden on Saturday night - he has all the right attributes for the job and he deserves a proper chance.

just a note mcgurk is still recovering from a knee injury as far as i know and the fitness would not be there as yet but when fully fit he is as good as whats there at the minute and didnt look out of place last night being only 50% fit.

There are players in Tyrone of equal or better standard than Colm who may be better squad/team members. Don't think he would have the correct attitude for being a squad member.

Do you mean team player?  Does he have any problems with the club team?

what do you know about Colms attitude or anything about him tommo2, the facts of the matter are that he has been carmens best player all season and can play anywhere from 2-9 on the field and he would be a massive asset to the tyrone panel because there are lads on the panel a few years now and they wudnt be able to lace his boots, and if mickey harte has been watching the club football season it would have been hard not to notice him standing out in every game.
