What two contrasting games, yesterdays win leaves Fridays capitulation all the more frustrating considering the nabs victory over granemore, looks like we have a fight on our hands for 2nd place only. The lads showed great determination in the last 10 mins after going 3 behind following a tones penalty. Some strange decisions from the referee. slightly worried that after getting 3 scores in 5 minutes resulting from long balls into nippy that we then decided to run the ball into the forward line for the next 20 mins resulting in only scrappy hand passing and a break down of attacks due to crowding out, however then in the last 5 mins a few long balls did the trick again. Some of the young minors coming through seem to be struggling a bit with confidence and it took a few old timers like Ebby and Joe to steady the ship (cant believe i just called joe an old timer)

Spirit would have expected yous to have won both games comfortably. It must have been had to take the defeat on friday when well ahead with only minutes left. looks like nab are sure things for promotion with granemore the biggest challenge to u for promotion. the game in granemore looks crucial. clan eirann now seeem to be on a roll too.

Armagh Harps Summer Camp 2010.

Armagh Harps will run their week long summer camp from Monday 2nd – Thursday 5th August, the week following on from the Cúl Camp run by Armagh County Board.

It will start at 10am and will run until 2pm.

The camp is open to both boys and girls who have:

Completed Primary 1 to those who have completed 1st Year in Secondary School.

The cost is £20 per child or £35 per family, each child will be required to bring suitable playing equipment, water-bottle and a lunch on each day.

Forms are available at underage coaching sessions and must be returned as soon as possible, as the camp is limited to 80 players.

xcellent performance on Sunday against the league leaders, really thought 7-2 was not enough but we played against the wind very well. The 'Nab' looked very tired and seemed to be out on their feet with 15 to go.

I take it the absence of any real Harps talk on this thread now is due to the harassment to all things Harps from other posters.

Very sorry to have to report the passing of our former President Dessie Boylan after a recent illness.

Dessie was a great club man and an absolute gentleman.

May He Rest In Peace.
