With Tyrone,Armagh, Mayo, Laois, Galway eliminated, I think we could see a repeat of 2004 and see Kerry have another easy All Ireland win

Strangely enough I think if any team are going to beat Kerry the year it will be Monaghan, they ran Tyrone close and will have gained a lot of valuable experience and confidence from that game and they are a team that has been coming for a few years and maybe this is their time.

I would love to see them knock off the kingdom but it will be tough.

Prediction.

Kerry 2-12 Monaghan 1-11
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

This is the second year in a row that Tyrone and Armagh have not made it past the quarter finals. Living on past glories does not make you a contender.

Handy when you automatically make the quarters every year isn't it?

Competition . I Dont understand your arguement here . Tyrone could have drawn todays game but still they were hit by Dooher not being fit .He is around since 96 and has proved himself a great player . I really thought that the recent underage success by Tyrone would unearth a few leaders . Kerry have not been tested yet so they wont know how they can get by without Moynihan and Mike Mc .

Well as the title of the post suggests, it is Kerry's to lose - not the final, but next week. Unless Monaghan get hammered, they'll still be able to hold their head up high and have something to build on for the league and next year's championship - they have a very young team.
If Monaghan do beat Kerry however, all we'd hear is how badly Kerry played no doubt!

so maguire did meath play well today or was it down to Tyrones Injuries ?,Does it really matter what people say if monaghan win next sunday then best of luck to you and bring on the semi

If Monaghan beat Kerry, this will be the worst season of football in donkeys years and it will be the softest All-Ireland won ever!

(If you listen to Tyrone and Kerry folk).
If you were any use you'd be playing.

AH now boys chill out an All Ireland is an Ireland .

I thought lack of competitive games was a disadvantage..no ?

Excuse me but we dont suffer from this particular northern disease. Every team left will be deserving winners if they manage to capture Sam in Sept.

ONeill

Feel a wee bit sorry for Kerry - this generation's breed of footballers will still not be recognised as any good at all til they beat Tyrone in the SFC. (failed in 03/05).

Tyrone - unbeaten against the kingdom for 21 years!
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Mike Sheehy

You expect that history will use that excuse for a football team as the baramoter of what makes a worthy AI winner ? How many wides did ye kick ? ..30 yards out and ye couldnt put the ball over the bar. Face, if ye cant suffocate teams then ye have nothing much to offer.
