Paedo Hunter Groups

I'm all for the groups catching these people
Only thing I have reservations with is the foul language used , name calling etc.
I think the groups which do this  should be more professional. Tell these people that they have the evidence and that they are holding them until the police arrive.

Vigilantes fine. False imprisonment fine. Foul language bad.

Most of these groups are scumbags themselves who've found the one group of people in society that it's acceptable to punch down on. Wasn't one of the top pedo hunters in Belfast a joyriding junkie in his younger days?

I don't see much of the stings popping up on social media anymore, have these groups taken a step back or are have the pedos caught on to them?

I know of a group of loyalist hunters based in Belfast post sting, visiting the wife and kids of one of their targets and ordering them to leave the 6 counties (completely innocent and already in absolute shock / turmoil).

But then there is a bloodlust that needs fed, its nearly like they are not doing it for the right/correct reasons.. Go join the cops and ask to be in that division, not sure criminals can join the police so there's that

I would have come across these groups plenty in work (not in a personal capacity). Initially they made prosecutions more difficult by mishandling evidence. Then they got at it and built really strong cases.

Seem to have died off in recent years partially because Police have gotten better at it.
