Quote from: weareros on July 09, 2026, 10:30:24 PMI suspect that will prove another example of an African team not getting fair play. Other way around and a handball in lead up
is checked. 2-0 up now.

Which team?

There'll be fun and frolics in Paris tonight.

Déjà vu result

2022 World Cup semi-final

And that Quarter-final tonight.

France v England would be the most interesting final pairing of the teams left.

5 of the top 8 ranked teams made the quarters. The other 3 who didn't are/were all managed by ex everton managers

Starmer put in a call 🤣

Only saw the pen incident once and looked clear to me but my son says he saw an angle that looked like the the back studs of the defender might've clipped the ball

Anything hindering England is good corruption

Can equally fire up a team. FIFA ended up galvanising Belgium; this will draw England's ire. I can see a bandaged up Hendo, escaped from hospital, invoking the spirit of Alfred the Great. Would rather they quashed it and pissed off the Norsemen.

Keep the faith chaps

I'd like to see a home nation win it.

Armamike

If they end up the best team in it and don't win account of a fluky jammy win, then good luck to them. Wouldn't have a problem with that.  But France and Spain look better, and wouldn't fancy them to beat Argentina either.
That's just, like your opinion man.

That English tackle was a bad tackle, shouldnt even be a argument over it.

Olise is the current player of the tournament for me.

He makes France tick.

And him born and reared in England  ;D

He has been brilliant. Hard to believe he hasn't scored yet. But yeah he's the man that makes France tick. Reading to Palace to Bayern and now one of the best players at the World Cup for France is some career path.
