Mayo to beat Kerry in semi then give Sam to Galway

Cunny Funt

Very good win for Mayo you could tell even 1st half it was there to be won if good enough and were certainly that 2nd half. The scoring full forward of O'Donoghue,McDonald and Beirne produced the goods in Croke Park.

Cork forwards with their shooting and decision making some contrast, Into a 15th year for a county of Cork's size and tradition to not reach the last 4 is simply unacceptable.

What can Tyrone do (based off Kerry's performance last week) to stay competitive
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought.

Armagh18

2 average enough teams, Cork shooting was woeful. McDonald is a joy to watch and will be such a loss for the GAA as well as Mayo. Conroy did well when he came on, a pleasure to watch as well. Some excellent defensive turnovers at times from Mayo although hard to know if it was them being good or Cork being bad. The other semi finalists will have no fear of Mayo.

Don'tgive the ball away, be clinical up front and hope they can get some sort of foothold in midfield.

If mayo draw Louth or Monaghan they could get to the AI final. It's the hope that kills you...

Precisely this. Tallest midget etc.

Nobody will be overly scared of Mayo after that. They do have the players and capacity to catch fire though.

Really not sure how anyone arrives at this opinion.

Mayo have a solid defence and a strong enough attacking core which allows them to win games even with a fair bit less possession than their opponents.

Obviously there's a few issues at midfield, but so have most teams.

Can Mayo win the AI? Yes. I wouldn't back then with your money but they are good enough.

Superb refereeing display today.

Cork flower every 20 years or so. Down are similar. When they are good, they are very good.

Cork very limited up front outside Sherlock who is their only reliable shooter. Especially now that Hurley is a sub. Chris Og Jones dangerous with his pace running the ball alright. Some of their shooting was atrocious. Energy draining wides. Had more than enough possession.

Maybe not mark Clifford at all and use the spare man to sweep midfield. Tactical innovation

Dara Beirne is a son of Kevin who played for Mayo in the 90s and Kobe's Dad Ciaran was also a Mayo player in the 90s. 2 very exciting players.  Interesting that last week they were 9 points behind Meath and now this week they are in the all Ireland semi final.

Aaron Boone

A good first year for Andy Moran. Into the semis.

Anyone having problems buying  game on GAAgo?

statto

Silly from mckernan getting involved in off the ball stuff and punished with a two.

Defend better than Armagh. Don't drop the intensity levels if you find yourself 6 points behind at half time.
