Armagh Louth derby could be interesting
Looking forward to that one. We used a get out of jail card against them in the league a couple of years ago.

Quote from: thejuice on June 02, 2026, 12:31:02 PMIf Meath put in the same shite performances as we did in our two games so far then we're heading home. Have to find another level of intensity. It's not the league. Need to bring championship levels now. Do or die. If we have a half time lead we need to go even harder in the second half.

That is exactly the same for us. Be an interesting game to see which teams show up. Just happy we have home advantage which I hope we can make count for something.

QuoteThat's Dublin and Kerry looked after as expected.
Tough enoigh one for us but the type of game you need to be winning to be an AI contender.
Wouldn't rule out  Cavan beating Dublin

Dublin won't be winning  no All Ireland anyway , so  I wouldn't worry. Kerry handy draw though as usual

As usual?
Got Donegal last time.
The two previous championship draws, they got Tyrone in 2025 semi, and the then reigning All-Ireland Champions Armagh in 2025 1/4s.

If you're getting to a  semi final, odds are you'll meet   a top 4 or 5 team

Kerry didn't draw Armagh last year. Kerry were the only  team Armagh COULD get as they'd played  every one else previously
Ideally from an Armagh pov- Galway and Donegal win and go to QF's and one of those draw Kerry. Or do you want to face a Donegal/Galway who have played a (hopefully) tough round 3 game the week before
I am open to correction, but is it not avoid repeat pairings where possible moving forward? In that case Kerry would play Armagh/Louth, Westmeath/Galway or Mayo/Tyrone as have played both Donegal/Cork already.

The Paddy Power odds ignore the throw in times as not confirmed yet

The potential upsets mini shocks?

Cavan given that Dublin are off the back of defeat to Louth and Westmeath

Meath more free scoring and ability to to score two pointers. Already beat Derry this year.

Monaghan home advantage knock out football is made for them.  The rossies need to be prepared for a big battle

Mayo maybe did beat Tyrone in Omagh last year but that was with Rochford stepping in and having Mayo righly set up defensively. Under Moran he doesn't seem capable or cares about the teams defensive duties.

I'd love if we could but think that's poor odds on us. An angry Dublin running up a core is probably a better bet.

Dublin @-7 or -9 handicap should give much better odds than that and better value overall.

Ah you could be right. Hopefully Galway Kerry quarter final so! Or Cork/Westmeath pull an upset and Galway Donegal meet in a quarter final :D

If Dublin are 2/5 to win game outright the handicap will be 4/5 points.

A very boring draw I thought in comparison to the round 1 draw. Fewer unpredictable matches I feel and knock out effect of a poor enough round 3 draw I feel too.

Draw wasn't great but at same time could be setup for some fantastic knock out games in quarter finals.

Could potentially have Donegal, Armagh, Galway, Tyrone straight through to quarter finals playing Roscommon, Kerry, Meath, Mayo in knock out games.

Hopefully set up for good competitive quarter finals

Norm-Peterson

Derry have a good chance of reaching the quarter finals if they can avoid Tyrone/Mayo in the next game. That would be a successful season by Derry's standards now.

My bet: Monaghan, Derry, Cavan +4, Cork+8, Westmeath +6

Tyrone v Mayo the standout draw.

I'd love to see young McDonald get the chance to play in Croker with space in front of him. Unreal talent who will be missed.

Rossfan

Sounds like the Connacht and Leinster Counties should concede now.
4 Ulster semi finalists
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Getting ahead of yourself there.
There's the small matter of Meath in the way - who already beat us comfortably in the league, and our form is far from good.
I agree though, if we got to a quarter final, that would be a success given how the year has went so far.
