Mayo have nothing to lose

No one expected them to be here and no one expects them to win

If Mayo are still in the game at half time I think they have a chance

(I vowed I'd never watch another final after 2021, but have been cajoled by my sons into watching on Sunday)

When you look at that Mayo midfield and half forward line they are big and can move much better than most over the ground.

Ah I'm living in hope more than anything.

One player that doesn't get mentioned is Breen with Kerry who gets on so much ball. He always seems to be the deeper pivot when Paudie is moving around.

Breen can be sloppy but hes a rolls royce too. Mayo turnovers will be something Kerry want to avoid as much as possible but I feel a lot of older narratives are irrelevant under new rules.

I think Conor Loftus starting is a "goal positive" approach.

There is huge danger with the speed and space available, if Mayo can click properly there are goals.

Cloud dry day forecast with high temp of 19C. Mayo are seriously conditioned and I reckon kerry subs could come on a touch earlier than usual.

Midfield and centre forwards are problem areas for Mayo all year. Don't think Loftus is answer at 11. Be interesting to see if Matthew Ruane starts.

Geaney would retire if they win youd imagine. Some way to sign off Club and County All Irelands. He could create havoc for Mayo with high ball, they had a stutter against Cork on it.
