Never won Leinster. Never won Sam.
This is massive.

Love a good underdog story like that. Delighted for Oisin and Wicklow. Down might not avoid the Tailteann Cup in 2027 next year afterall.

Great for the soul, congratulations Wicklow.

Jees that was just a bit mad, great scenes

A good day for the Tailteann Cup and a Great day for Wicklow football.

I'd be proud to be a Wicklow man right now. That was astonishing belief.

But f**k me, Down went MIA. Our spine disintegrated and the rest had no idea what to do.

Good day for football to be fair. New rules got a great day out.

Go on Oisin.
Fair play Wobbler you're bound to be sick after that. Decision making from Down was woeful, Murdock and others made some woeful mistakes.

That's going to be tough to come back from.

Only downer is Simon Harris hanging about in the background.

Great speech from the Wicklow captain

Well done Wicklow

Fantastic second half  performance

They rode their luck , but an utter  collapse from Down

befair

Great heart from Wicklow; once they pitched in a few early scores in the 2nd half Down started to panic. No complaints. yoyoing between div 2 and 3 and tailteann cup is our level. Really hope Wicklow can kick on from this

Anyone know what Lavertys screensaver is now? His p45 perhaps?

Worst loss in our history. And we've had some bad days.

Laverty, McEntee & Clarke, 6 figures between them, utterly useless.

I said to myself Mooney will lose the ball and sure enough turned over. Is he greedy or just not quick mentally?

Bad call putting him on tbh.

Hes too big and slow*, the goal finish was poor too.

Down had handy goals and Wicklow peno miss. The right result overall.

lol. Must have been thinking of some other fella. Mooney was clocked at 21.7mph vs Donegal. 33yo
