Managed it well to close the game out but felt it shouldn't have been so close in the end. Happy with the win but need to sharpen up in a few areas.

Well that was closer than it should have been. Honestly apart from the first 15 minutes we were by far the better team. And then totally took our eye off the ball after blitzing Tyrone to go 12 ahead. And then fell asleep. Reminded me of the Louth game. That needs to be sorted asap. Once is a mistake, twice is not forgivable at this level.
Anyway that's my only gripe and in fairness when they were on form they were Eletric , Morris delivery to lynch was sublime. We played some of the best football I have seen in a long time. Tyrone tied up Morris and Flynn but in doing so let jack O'Connor the run of croke park then when they got to grips with him kinsella ignited. Thats the thing with this Meath team it's not just one or two players that will hurt you. 1.8 in 35 minutes is some return.
Promotion is now guaranteed barring an implosion v Offaly. So we will be back to where these players deserve to be.

Yeah I was of the same feeling. When is the last time Meath beat 3 Ulster sides in one campaign 2 of them heavily fancied
