50 mins played  Easkey 0-15 Kilbrittain 0-14

After 60 minutes  Easkey 0-18 Kilbrittain 0-18

Three minutes added.

Result  Easkey 0-18 Kilbrittain 0-19. Fine effort by the Sligo men against the odds and finished the game with 13 players.
Is the ref going to finally blow his whistle?... No, he's going to blow his nose

Milltown Row2

Easkey unlucky with the red, the lad overplayed the injury for me which would have made me give a yellow lol!

Ref can give 5 seconds advantage so should have composed himself and allowed the play, that said he did probably take too many steps

Aye 2 yellows, one for the tackle
One for the lad rolling round on the floor holding his face.

They are digging in rightly though with a man down.

Milltown Row2

Yeah I hope they come through.. very evenly matched

I thought the 5 second rule was done away with and it was referees discretion ?

Was no consistency with the ref, a similar challenge by Kilbrittain player moments later and he gave a yellow instead of red.

Was it similar? Was that the one he'd won the ball and came through a tackle heading the other away?

If not I missed it. Both yellow in my book if it's the one I'm thinking off

It was similar and yellow for both challenges for me also.

As meaningful a speech as you'll hear. Fair play to the Kilbrittain captain.

Toreen so ponderous, handpass after handpass

FT Upperchurch-Drombane 1-17 Tooreen 0-20.  Some drama and amount of wasted opportunities for both late on. Some score to level it up.

A pressure score to say the least.

Hoof Hearted

Maybe not the best skill but great drama
Some ball on yer man to knock that over from that distance
Over the black spot too

Fantastic game. Into extra-time now.

Some bit of skill by the young Toureen lad along the sideline to win the ball to put them 1 pt up.

But Toureen gave away a few high tackle frees in last 10 mins which kept Upperchurch in it.

But some game. Excellent drama.

Does Cathal Barrett not play for Upperchurch Drombane now?
