Yep. Don't think he played until Donegal game as a sub if I remember rightly which was maybe the 5th game. A shame but we'll go with what we have for now.

Preferably stay up and get ourselves primed for championship.

O'Neill is strange character. Great talent but unfulfiled talent in a way.

Compare to a Brendan Rogers or a Paul Conroy, to me there's no comparsion. Them lads have a different culture in terms of their approach to their sports.

Dunno Marty. Is he a 12month per year sorta guy? Obviously not. But he's an All Ireland under the belt and still a fair few years left yet. But I know what your saying

Just because he's decided/realised that there's more to life than football doesn't mean that when he plays again he won't be fully committed.

I wish you were right but look how it worked out for Jamie Clarke. A lost talent.  There's a lot of resentment from players who don't get the same latitude to rejoin the panel when it suits them.

He's more ability in his big toe than most players in Ireland, Clarke was something similar so you need to give them their head abit,  he'll be back. Clarke played on some woeful teams

I was speaking to oisin mcconville after a talk he gave yesterday and he said rian will be back very soon. And the reason he hadnt joined back was that he didnt think he was physically up to the standard and needed more time. He felt it wouldve been unfair if he joined back and not at the level of his teammates.

Why can't he get fit again by training with the squad. He doesn't have to play.

Yeah would be taking that with a pinch of salt tbh, but Rian was something similar last year didn't play much in the league and when he did didn't look fully fit, wouldn't be worried

Not trying to be rude Armagh but you haven't a clue if I was speaking to him or not. 'Take that with a pinch of salt' the cheek of you. Oisin an in law of mine so watch yourself or I'll get him on you.
