Man United might not thank me but get the contract out, put it on the table, let him sign it and let him write whatever numbers he wants to put on there given what he's done now since he's come in. Let him sign the contract. Michael's at the wheel man, he's doing his thing, Man United are back.

An we haven't really looked at anything beyond the 80s. Stein being the exception.

Mourinho never won it 3 times.

Ancellotti been mentioned yet. Another with a phenomenal record.

Porto, inter. Did he not win it with Madrid?

Milltown Row2

Never in doubt  ;D

What happened between Cunha and Carrick at the end there

gerrykeegan

Cunha really angry with something between him and Carrick at the end. It looked like Carrick sent him off the pitch.
2007  2008 & 2009 Fantasy Golf Winner
(A legitimately held title unlike Dinny's)

No he never won CL at Madrid. They were in a serious CL drought before they've had their recent glut.

Zidane won 3 and Ancelloti 3 in recent years.

Like a different team that second half. Dalot and Maguire abysmal on the first 2 goals, but Maguire a big part of the turnaround in the second along with Cunha. If they can put the same effort into every game as they did that second half most fans would be happy

Let's keep the band together for another few months!

Captain Obvious

Roma in the past had some embarrassing European nights in Old Trafford. 7-1 defeat in 2017.  6-2 five years ago and tonight the worse of the lot? when you consider the form and mess Manchester United are in with a manager on borrowed time and Roma had a two goal head start.

The only hope for this season is City getting relegated, as there hopefully will be two worse teams

How bad was last season PL if they finished 3rd

Absolutely blessed to win that retaken penalty and a miskick... You'd question that rule on the penalty fair enough if keeper comes off his line but Fernandes missed fair and square.

A player who returns onto the pitch after being sent off can face a further ban. Carrick probably just making sure he doesn't get more than a 1 match ban.
